- Prov 18:17-21 God said, I love those who love Me. And those who seek Me diligently will fine Me. Riches and honor are with Me, enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, and my revenue than choice silver. I traverse the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of justice, that I may cause those who love Me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.
- III John 1:2 Beloved, above all things, I wish that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.

- WHAT NOT TO DO IN ACQUIRING WEALTH
- I Corin 10:24 Let no one seek his own, but each one the others well-being.
- I John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 2:16 - For all that is in the world---the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life---is not of the Father, but is of the world. 2:17 - And the world will pass away and the lust thereof, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
- James 4:4 Adulterers and adultereresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- Phil 2:3 - Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. 2:5 Let this be in you which was also in Christ.
- Phil 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 2:15 That you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.
- Prov 11:28 - He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like foliage.

- Prov 22:16 He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, and he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.
- Prov 22:22 Do not rob the poor because he is poor, nor oppress the afflicted at the gate; 22:23 For the Lord will plead their cause and plunder the soul of those who plunder them.
- Prov 23:4 Do not overwork to be rich; because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? 23:5 - For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.
- Prov 23:17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, but be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day long; 23:18 For surely, there is a hereafter and your hope will not be cut off.
- Prov 24:15 Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; do not plunder his resting place; 24:16 For a righteous man will fall 7 times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. 24:17 - Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; 24:18 Lest the Lord see it and it displease Him and turn away His wrath from him. 24:19 do not fret because of evil doers, nor be envious of the wicked. 24:20 For there will be no prospect for the evil man. The lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
- Prov 28:7 - Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich. 28:8 One who increases his possessions by usury and extortion gathers it for him who will pity the poor.
28:13 - He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. 28:21 To show partiality is not good, because for a piece of bread a man will transgress. 28:22 A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, and does not consider that poverty will come upon him.
- Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the council of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 1:2 - But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. 1:3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.
- OTHER PRINCIPLES REGARDING SUCCESS AT ANYTHING
- Psalms 127:1 Unless the Lord builds a house, they labor in vain who built it; unless the Lord guards a city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
- Ecc 5:10 he who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This is also vanity.
- Luke 12:15 Jesus said, "Take heed and be ware of covetousness, for ones life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses".
- Luke 18:24 And Jesus said to the rich man, How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 18:25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
- Mark 8:34 Jesus said, whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow Me. 8:35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospels will save it. 8:36 For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
- Det 23:21 When you make a vow to the Lord your god, you shall not delay to pay it; for the Lord your God will surely require it of you and it will be a sin to you. 23:22 But if thou shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. 23:23 That which has gone from your lips you shall keep and perform; for you voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God what you have promised with your mouth.
- Coloss 3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord, and not unto man.
- I Tim 6:6 For godliness with contentment is great gain. 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we carry nothing out, 6:8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 6:9 But those who desire to be rich, fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 6:11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
- I Tim 6:17 Commend those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 6:18 Let them be good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, 6:19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
- COURAGE, FOCUS, AND PERSEVERANCE IN THE PURSUIT OF SUCCESS
LOVE IS OMNIPOTENT (I CORIN 13:1-13)
- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- Though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, but have no love, I am nothing.
- Though I have all faith so that I could move mountains, but have no love, I am nothing.
- Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, but have no love, it profits me nothing.
- Though I give my body to be burned, but have no love, it profits me nothing.
- Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, and is not puffed up.
- Love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.
- Love does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.
- Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things; love never fails.
- And now abide faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
