Kill II This FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

Who are they?

Looking at the picture from L-R: Caroline Campbell, Steve Rooney, Mark Mynett & Matt Pollock, though in some of the pictures below Ben Calvert is still seen. Ben has now left the band and has been replaced by Steve. More details can be found on the Bios Page. The band was originally formed in March 1996, but there has been a bit of a change in the line up. You might have seen them supporting Slipknot or headlining around the UK & Europe.

Where are they from?

The guys all hail from the Northish of England - Mark from Preston, Caroline from Manchester, Matt from Scunthorpe and Steve is from Doncaster. Well you have to come from somewhere eh? They now pretty much reside in the Greater Manchester area when they are not being dragged around on the tour bus.

What albums have they done?

In total 3 rip roaring metal efforts - though debut 'Another Cross II Bare' was with a 75% different line up. Their second outing 'Deviate' has become something of a benchmark in UK Metal, and the recent 'Trinity' already has impressive sales. More on these in the Discography section.

They look different - what happened to the original line up?

Well, the band was formed March 1996 by Mark, with Nick Arlea on Vocals, Andy Stone on Bass and Jeff Singer on Drums. Nick is now in a band called Autoerotica. April 1998 saw the joining of Caz, and later on that year, just before recording 'Deviate' Matt was recruited along with Ben. Steve joined in August 2000.

Where do they hang out?

For all the K2T spotters - a good place to meet and greet is at Jilly's Rockworld (Thursday, Friday, Saturday - details in Links section) or at The Ritz (Monday) - both in Manchester. Mark is often there towering above the crowd, and Caz has been known to dance to her own songs! Steve often patronises the Metro or Borderline in London.

Where can I write to the band?

For contact addresses, see my page . The band have no publicised email addresses (very wise) but at least Mark and Steve regularly read the Kill II This Web Board
