Kill II This Biographies

Mark Mynett - Guitarist & Songwriter

Born April 7 1969 in Preston, former China Beach guitarist, Mark is a scary 6 foot 6. His family made and sold equipment for crematoriums and his mother was a yoga teacher. He read a lot of violent books when he was young, though I am sure he is one of the nicest men in rock today.

"If you don't believe in yourself then no one else is going to believe in you either"

Matt Pollock - Vocals

Born March 22 1975 in Shropshire, Matt was the frontman for the band Swampdiva before a meeting in a kebab shop changed it all in June 1998. The vocal versatility Matt has is one of the band's strengths. He also has a thing about dental hygiene. Recently sporting a new haircut, the boy has style.

Steve Rooney - Skins

The new K2T drummer was recruited from the band Fister mid August 2000. Steve was born in a place called Bridlington on the East Coast of Yorkshire in 1974, but currently lives in London. Before Fister, was in popular Grimsby band Farenheit. His two obsessions seem to be drums and drink, he likes to cook and is a typical Libra.

"Don't ever let anyone make you feel inferior, they are stealing you from you"

Pete Stone - Bass

Pete Stone is currently filling in the vacant slot left by Caroline for the Fear Factory tour. He knows Mark very well from their days in China Beach, and is apparently doing a 'cracking' job. He was the original Kill II This bassist, and played and toured on the band's debut album "Another Cross II Bare"

Caroline Campbell

Born November 10, 1979 in Manchester, Caroline met Mark by chance in Manchester's infamous Rockworld, who recruited her in May 1998. She officially left the band in March 2001, her departure from Kill II This was no surprise to the band. It was actually the second time she has left the band, after reconsidering her decision the first time. The reasons were due to personal, professional and musical differences that eventually became irreconcilable. Campbell herself has pledged to "keep on making music".

"I had a really difficult upbringing. I used to go home and play guitar to escape"

Ben Calvert

Benny was the drummer with Kill II This until the end of June 2000, when professional differences lead him to depart. Born on January 27 1981 in Berwick-upon Tweed, he is a pretty quiet guy. who likes Nutri-Grain bars and Downfall competitions. These days he is playing with mental rockers Sack Trick.

Guest Drummer - Jay Micciche

Missing a drummer before The Lost Weekend gig, Jay from Vacant Stare was brought in at the last minute - and what a grand job he did. Jay was born on the 1st June 1976 in Chertsey, and likes hanging out with his friends and getting beered up. Vacant Stare have the Kerrang! evolution tour coming up and are making a promo video for the song "Prognosis", also they will soon release three tracks on 7" vinyl in Japan.

Producer - Andy Sneap

Andy is renowned - working on such efforts as Machine Head, Napalm Death, Exodus, Earth Crisis, Testament, Stuck Mojo, Blaze, and of course Kill II This on their 'Deviate' and 'Trinity' releases. Described as "Britain's own Bob Rock with a iron-enhanced-testicle production" Andy has his own 'Backstage Studios'in Nottingham and was also once the guitarist in the black metal band Sabbat.

Another Cross II Bare's Producer was Colin Richardson (Machinehead, Fear Factory)

Not In The Band - The Webmistress

Tamsyn is 24 and lives in Manchester, and is constantly trying to avoid her Fire Sign tendencies. She longs for an enjoyable career, is a practising Neopagan, and wants a car to get to more K2T gigs. Read more thoughts in her Online Journal.
