Plan B Review 26jan01

I was lucky enough to hear one of the new songs by K2T last night called 'Plan B'. It opens up with ethnicish drums and Matt vocals sounding a bit like an Incubus/Korn mix, then it launches with full force into hard melodic lines, reminiscent of Faith No More, but with more frenzy. The vocals, the guitar line, the drums, all of them are maturing in sound and exponentially increasing in competence with every new song. If promoted right, with a cool video, I don't see why this song wouldn't go global. Way to go guys!

The guys have been locked away writing the new stuff, and apaprently we are in for a nice surprise! The forthcoming tunes will be more melody driven, with an addition of Steve's singular drumming style, and apparently Matt's vocals having improved to stratospheric proportions! Two completed songs are entitled 'Universe in a Nutshell' and 'Plan B', and may end up online. I know I can't wait to hear them.

Message From Rooney 12jan01

As posted on the K2T board: Happy New Year to you all peeps. Any of you guys in London or thereabouts, I'm doing a bit of a rare gig thing with FISTER on January 19th at the Garage. We're second on which means be there for nine and you will see the whole twisted mess. Meanwhile, just so you know, we are in the throes of extreme writing in the K2T camp right now. Hence our board inactivity! All try to have fun now!

Always the last to know? 3jan01

It seems that way, but anyhow - our lovely Caz is going out with Karl, the lead singer of Earthtone 9 and has been for quite a while now. It is good to see her happy. The rest of the band are all in long term relationships too. Ain't love grand? :)
