What a journey this adoption was! Can you believe 2 years ago this month our paperwork was officially logged into China's system? They are currently receiving referrals for the month of February of 2006... we would have still had many months of waiting ahead of us and we have been home with our miracle for almost 3 months already! She has been such a blessing to us and our family and friends.

We saw both surgeons this week and everything seems to be healing well. She is still on a puréed diet but does not seem to mind and thankfully she is getting enough that she is not losing weight which I was afraid of! She must still wear the arms restraints when we are not right with her, especially at night which she hates. I think this is what is causing her to wake up so much during the night. Hopefully that will return to normal in the near future!

In this final post I wanted to thank a few people. First off I know without my "core circle" and you know who you are, this would have been unbearable from beginning to end. In these last few years you have laughed with me, cried with me, shared our joy of referral and travel, met me at the airport, sat with me in the hospital, allowed me rest in the hospital, but most importantly you prayed for us and this process! And let's not forget we also added two other miracle babies during the process!

Thanks also to the family and friends and especially those I work with for listening to me talk endlessly especially after we had a picture. It meant a lot to me to share this with all of you!
