Right now we have three daughters and are in the process of adopting our first son from China.

Our oldest daughter, Alasha, is 22. She is married to Dustin and they live in Dillingham, AK. She works as a pharmacy technician. Our ‘middlest’ daughter, Carly, is 19. She is married to Aaron and they live in Olympia. She works at Linens 'n Things.

Before we adopted our youngest, Alasha and Carly would often pray for a little brother. Our youngest daughter, Jenessa Mei (Jen), is 4 1/2. She is from Jiangxi, China. We went to China in May 2003 to adopt her. (Remember SARS?) She attends preschool and is very outgoing and social. Everyone calls her the Energizer bunny.

After much thought and deliberation, we decided we would like to go back to China and add another child to our family. We joked about what if we were offered a boy, and our response was: “The Robertsons only know how to do girls.” OK, pass the snakes and snails and puppy dog tails, we’re eating our words.
