We stayed in almost the entire day today. We were rained in. So, we worked on development. Jaelin was lacking in the feed yourself and reach-for-things department. We fixed that issue real quick. It could be that her hands were confined in some manner when she ate, or it could be that she was bundled too tight to move. In any case, by the end of the day she wanted to feed herself. She drinks three bottles a day and she wants them HOT!!!!!

They keep hot water containers in all rooms (rooms with babies) to make the bottles. She also learned about crawling today. The kids would set her on her tummy and then put a toy in front of her for her to grab. She would crawl towards it. She laughs when she falls. She laughs when Katie or Jonathan fall. To go to sleep she needs a blankie that she acts like she is smelling. She just sniffs it for about 5 minutes and she is asleep.

Well, besides our indoor travels and the miracle of waking up and seeing a new baby in our room, nothing much else happened. I think the kids were a little disappointed.
