Hi Everyone!!!

Today was Adoption Day. Of course we were all up at 3:00 a.m., again. That is with the exception of Jaelin. She slept all night, like a dream. When she woke up this morning she was a different child. Laughing and giggly all day. She loves Jonathan and Kaitlin and is starting to depend on them to keep her entertained non-stop. In fact, all of the babies love Jonathan.

Jaelin had a big breakfast, but she was unable to feed herself. We all took turns and she ate and ate and ate. Then we went to the Civil Affairs office to complete our adoption. We signed our name on all the required documents and then provided a red thumbprint on each document. Then, Jaelin provided a footprint to seal the agreement. We talked to the officials and promised them that we would never abandon her. We then went to the Notary Office to have everything finalized, and it is....as far as the Chinese part of the process, anyway. We will get her passport on Monday.

We visited the Super Wal-Mart and it was just like an American one. As for Jaelin, the kids have taught her to walk and she loves it. She can say a few words, but we don't know what she is saying. She of course says "dada" a lot. She does not crawl at all. And she won't walk on her own, she must hold a finger at all times. She is just in the best mood and is very healthy. However, she is really small and is fitting into 9-month clothes at this time.

It rained all day in Nanchang. Katie has a cough now. We plan to stay in as much as possible at this point. The air here is still pretty polluted.

Lily Halsey is here in the hotel with us. Lily was adopted by the Halseys of Lubbock. So we hope that the girls will be good friends as they came from the same orphanage. The hotel is great. We went ahead and got two rooms to contain the energy of the three kids. It is all Chinese TV so they have been playing for three hours with a Mr. Potato Head that I brought. We really miss the boys at home and I know that Kendrick is going to love his new sister, and she is really going to love Chandler.
