Just a quick note to let everyone know that we arrived safely in Beijing last night. It was a long travel day, and we were all happy to finally get to the hotel. Alex was great and informed me on the plane that the things he is most excited about on the trip are (in this order):
We are meeting with a few other families from our group who have also arrived later this morning, and will be touring the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. We will try to send another update with pictures later!
