Icebreaker 2004
We managed to get our car set to go for Ice Breaker weekend.  We weren't quite set up the way we wanted to, but we got to race.  We started 25th in the feature event with 30 cars scheduled to take the green.  We worked up a few positions and managed to finish the race in 19th position.  We are glad that the car came home in one piece and we don't have any major repairs for the next race.  The only real big thing we have to do is paint and letter the car.  So for the May 22nd event we won't be in the drab gray primer. We would also like to send a congratulations out to Scott Sundeen on his Ice Breaker limited sportsman victory!

Sorry we haven't updated the site in a while, we've been pretty busy with the car. Once again our season hasn't started off with the best foot forward. We are still experiencing some handing problems and a few small mechanical problems that we just can't seem to get rid of. I guess it's just rookie mistakes, but it can get frustrating after awhile. We spent all last week working on the spring s and getting the car set up just right. Unfortunately we were bitten by a mechanical bug in our heat race and we didn't get a good feel for the car. The rain kept us parked for the rest of the night so last week really was a wash out for us. Since last Thursday we've done some more fine-tuning to the setup and got the car scaled as well. We also added our graphics, so no more duct tape numbers! We are looking forward to our double features this Thursday, and hopefully we have the car set up just the way we want it. Check back sometime Friday afternoon for an update on Thursday's event.

The mini stocks ran the feature from last week (that was rained out) and their regular feature that was scheduled for this week.  It was a very long night with the mini's being the first race and the last race of the night.  In the first race we chose to start in the back, we still weren't 100% sure on the way we would handle so we figured we would play it safe.  We were scheduled to start 31st, we worked our way up and finished 18th.  In the second feature we took our appointed starting position and started 18th and finished 12th.  That has been our best finish yet, so all in all the night was a success!  The car seems to be handling  better than usual and we are feeling much more  comfortable in the car.
