Havana Horns

The Mavericks added four horn players to the current line-up. This enables them to continue along the vein of their latest release "Trampoline" which is full of the"big band-latin" sound. Meet the four below:

Here is one of the treasures of the year for the Havana Horns. We had this taken the afternoon we played the NY State Fair with the Wallflowers. It sums up the flavor and wackiness of our year with the Mavericks. From left to right, Tom McGinley (notice the whisky bottle in his right hand), Dick Faust (Looking like actor George Kennedy in a western), Matt Nygren (myself with now absent goatee suitable for this photo), and Scotty Huff (with trigger finger poised on his "weapon"). Thanks to fans and Mavericks alike for a year of wonderful adventures and great music. -M-
