-------------------------------------

A very special thanks to all those who have helped build the XWF and serve it to the best of your ability. We really do appreciate your loyalty, your dependablity and most importantly your leadership! From 1998 to 2012 and even til this very day, the XWF has never stopped creating, re-inventing and that is why we're one of the most prestigous EFEDs on the planet.

The XWF got off the ground in late 1998 and really starting putting major shows together in 1999. Even though we had quite a few champions most of them weren't original characters at first. Kamakazee Ken goes on record as really the 1st XWF World Champion with his own persona. However, it was John Studd who really changed the face of the XWF and became the top star of the company early on in it's existence. Finally able to help XWF garner a TV deal to put them on the map and begin selling out arenas nationwide. Nobody was able to unseat him as the true #1 superstar and eventually he decided on an early retirement with all his riches and all his women.

That left "The Messiah of Xtreme" Triple H and "Y2J" Chris Jericho left at the top of the XWF food chain. At the time they were really the only 2 true Main Eventers and they just joined forces together as "The Unlikely Alliance". It was Triple H as World Champion and Jericho as Intercontinental Champion. They didn't seem like they could be stopped... that was until the next original up-and-comer came along by the name of Jack Tanner.

Jack took the XWF by storm around early 2001 and really brought the company some identity. Eventually it was the The Guerillas who came along and helped carry the XWF Tag Team Division for years. Also, superstars by the names of War Machine and Mars became two of the first signees in XWF history to really shake up the mid-card division. Putting on a brilliant feud that lasted most their careers. They took a leave of absence but decided to come back with a stable referred to as "the Old School" and they soared to new heights. Both men would end up capturing their dream of becoming an XWF World Champion.

The XWF Owner (from 1998-2012) Mr. Lucente would step down as the active President in 2003 after sharing the control with his older brother through 1998-2002. "Chris Benoit" (who went on to become a Grandslam Champion from 2002-2003) assumed the roles as the President and did a pretty bang up job. He passed the company over to Daniel Cowhey around 2004. Dan was able to make the company something special as the new President and even recruited such greats as Carlos A. Shotgun, Number 8, and Chris Falkenyork (known as "The Elite"). It was right around that time that 9LP finally stepped up and took Triple H's spot amongst the best Main Eventers of all time, capturing the XWF World Title in the process.

With Triple H, Jericho and John Studd out of the picture, Jack Tanner wasn't able to get his career going and eventually he also retired. Leaving behind a great legacy as many of those early superstars did. But it was the next generation that saw such great feuds as Falkenyork versus Shotgun and Adkins versus Summers. Also, The Blood Brothers came in to the picture to make the Tag Team Titles something special again. They were the first true Tag Team since The Guerillas who were really a force in that division. Not to be forgotten was the great Sam Hill who was the first ever Universal Champion in 2001 and really was considered the epitome of what an early XWF Hall of Famer should be.

Daniel Cowhey eventually gave the company over to Fran Lazartic near early 2005 and he kept the XWF alive as long as possible.

Here still intact is our XWF Old RP Board (2006-2009) and we eventually reached our 50th Episode of Showdown and decided to name a new show, so the Showdown board has been sealed shut like a vault, Showdown (2011-2014). If you ever have time, check out some of our latest work.

As for Lazartic's run as President, he is responsible for building up new World Champions like Joey Kincaid and Chesney Clausen. But atlast from stars such as The Master, Rage, Crimson Tide, "Suicide King" Steve Hardy and Xavier Summers... to superstars like Shawn Taylor, Jesse Jones and "TV MA" Mark Adkins... the XWF was always able to live on. Adding plenty of new names on the roster throughout the years. Crowning dozens of new champions. Hosting many great matches that have taken place as recently as 2017.

In 2010-2017 we relived some aged old rivalries and we saw new stars born on some of the biggest stages of them all. Through it all we have grew strong and we stick together. The XWF has always stood for greatness and loyalty. We have had a lot of worthy XWF World Champions and many different eras throughout our EFED history. One thing that never changes is the XWF's heart. We have a respectable roster and a very dedicated staff. The XWF is something that certainly feels like it will live on FOREVER...
