Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Taleah Haslon, 5-6 Jr. Baylee Murphy, 5-10 Sr. Kyamarra Matuse, 5-4 So Abi King, and 5-4 Sr. Jordynn Miles. East Jessamine coach Trevor Frith countered with 5-9 Jr. Maddy Arnold, 5-7 Sr. Rickayla Hubbard, 6-0 Sr. Kaitlynn Napier, 5-4 Sr. Kyla Hunt, and 5-5 Sr. Sloan Evans.
East Jessamine avenged an earlier loss to Madison Central by defeating the Lady Indians by the score of 61-51. East Jessamine shot 39.7% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Jaguars connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 32.8% from the field including five of 24 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 East Jessamine turnovers.
Kyla Hunt led East Jessamine with 20 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. Kaitlynn Napier added 12 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Sloan Evans recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Maddy Arnold chipped in with nine points, nine rebounds, and two steals. 6-0 Sr. Matelyn Wilson added six points and five rebounds. 5-4 So. Ansley Wilson recorded four points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Abi King led Madison Central with 16 points including four three point baskets and two rebounds. Jordynn Miles added 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Baylee Murphy recorded nine points and seven rebounds. Taleah Haslon chipped in with six points and four rebounds. Kyamarra Matuse pulled down seven rebounds.
