Johnson Central ran the ball 32 times for 423 yards for a 13.2 average and seven touchdowns in a 55-19 victory over Fern Creek. Johnson Central recorded 14 first downs and 468 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 20 yards and lost a fumble. Fern Creek recorded seven first downs and 166 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 27 yards.

Carter Conley led Johnon Central’s ground game with 180 yards and four touchdowns. Zack McCoart added 133 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Logan Music recorded 74 yards and a touchdown on one carry. Chase Pric carried the ball seven times for 41 yards. Mason Lawson carried the ball once for a 21 yard touchdown run. Jacon Grimm completed one of three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. Zack McCoart caught one pass for 45 yards and a touchdown. Zack McCort returned two kickoffs for 56 yards including a long return of 34 yards. Ryan Rice led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. C. Spradlin added five solo tackles. Logan Castle recorded four solo tackles. Jesse McCoy chipped in with three solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Mykel Malone led Fern Creek’s ground game with 74 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Landon Edwards completed three of nine passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Kaleb Passmore completed three of six passes for 45 yards. Ramari Taylor caught three passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. Camren Trice returned two kickoffs for 62 yards with a long return of 45 yards. Camren Trice led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. E. Wyrauch added two solo and four assisted tackles. Javion Fischer recovered a fumble.

Marquevion Smith scored on a five yard run with 25 seconds remaining on the clock and Ke’shon Douthitt caught a conversion pass from Andrew Witherington to give Tates Creek a 28-21 come-from-behind victory over Mercer County. Tates Creek recorded 17 first downs and 312 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized seven times for 89 yards and lost two fumbles. Mercer County recorded 17 first downs and 308 yards of total offense. The Titans were penalized eight times for 65 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Theo Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 82 yards on 11 carries. Andrew Witherington carried the ball nine times for 44 yards. J. Williams added 32 yards on seven carries. Marquevion Smith recorded 12 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Andrew Witherington completed 17 of 26 passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns. Marquevion Smith caught five passes for 40 yards. Ke’shon Douthitt added 38 yards and two touchdowns on four receptions. Thomas Seigler recorded 33 yards and a touchdown on four receptions. Ke’shon Douthitt returned one punt for 24 yards and returned two kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 36 yards. Marquevion Smith returned a punt for 20 yards and Kobe Middleton returned a kickoff for 31 yards. Logan Julian led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Senator Clay added five solo and two assisted tackles. Kobe Middleton recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Josiah Green added three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss. Thomas Seigler intercepted a pass he returned for 24 yards.

Thaddeus Mays led Mercer County’s ground game with 133 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Denim Griffieth added 102 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Thaddeus Mays completed nine of 17 passes for 73 yards with one interception. A. Drakeford caught three passes for 10 yards. Branson Sims added two receptions for 22 yards. Denim Griffieth added two receptions for 21 yards. Jackson Perry caught one pass for 14 yards. Myles Haygood returned one punt for 14 yards. Thaddeus Mays returned three kickoffs for 44 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Garrett Fister led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles. M. Pennington added five soo tackles. Mason Kirkland and Caden Semrau each recovered a fumble.

Elder raced out to a 35-0 lead on their way to a 42-21 over Covington Catholic. Elder recorded 24 first downs and 405 yards of total offense. They were penalized five times for 26 yards and lost a fumble. Covington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 317 yards of total offense. They were penalized once for five yards.

Luke Flowers led Elder’s ground game with 84 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Evan Meier carried the ball six times for 50 yards and a touchdown. Ben Schoster recorded 45 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Carson Browne carried the ball nine times for 37 yards. Ben Schoster completed 15 of 17 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. Justin Re caught six passes for 90 yards and a touchdown. Mark Autenrieb added three receptions for 25 yards. Luke Autenrieb recorded three receptions for 23 yards. Mark Autenrieb returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Zack Gutekunst led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Liam Hulen added four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Liam McKenna recorded four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 13 yard loss.

Owen Leen led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 42 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Evan Pitzer carried the ball seven times for 35 yards. Zacc Roberts recorded 32 yards on six carries. Jayden West caught a nine yard touchdown pass from Hagan Harrison with two seconds left on the clock to give Madison Central a 38-34 come-from-behind victory over Lexington Christian Academy. LCA had taken a 34-31 lead with 1:11 left on the clock on a 12 yard run by Jveontae Emerson. Madison Central marched down the field despite star RB Brady Hensley being limited in the second half due to muscle cramps. Hagan Harrison made some big plays down the stretch and found Jayden West in the end zone for the win. This was also a major milestone for Madison Central coach Mike Holcomb who notched his 300th career victory with this thriller. Madison Central recorded 24 first downs and 317 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized eight times for 65 yards and had a pass intercepted. LCA recorded 22 first downs and 468 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized six times for 80 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Brady Hensley led Madison Central’s ground game with 117 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Hagan Harrison carried the ball 15 times for 77 yards. Hagan Harrison completed 10 of 18 passes for 114 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Jayden West caught six passes for 74 yards and three touchdowns. Jayden West and Brock Eads each returned one kickoff for 34 and 28 yards respectively. Hayden Kiser led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles. Brock Eads added four solo and four assisted tackles. Kenyatta Hardge recorded one solo and four assisted tackles. Jayden West intercepted a pass he returned 22 yards.

Jveontae Emerson led LCA’s ground game with 52 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Cutter Boley carried the ball six times for 26 yards and a touchdown. Saxton Howard added 18 yards on three carries. Cutter Boley completed 17 of 25 passes for 367 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Evan Brown caught five passes for 141 yards and one touchdown. Drew Nieves added three receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown. Parker Chaney caught three passes for 69 yards. Saxton Howard and Parker Chaney each returned a kickoff for 29 and 20 points respectively. Major Brown led the defense with seven soo and eight assisted tackles. Will Nichols added three solo and eight assisted tackles. Drew Nieves recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Jacob Fryman score on a six yard run with 2:30 left in the game to give Scott County what proved to be the winning points in a 20-17 victory over Franklin County. This was sweet revenge for the Cardinals who had suffered a resounding defeat to the Flyers last season. Scott County recorded 17 first downs and 329 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized five times for 44 yards. Franklin County recorded nine first downs and 206 yards of total offense. The Flyers were penalized six times for 30 yards.

Jacob Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 104 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Ellis Huguely carried the ball seven times for 33 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Feickert added 32 yards on five carries. Andrew Hickey completed eight of 10 passes for 102 yards. Luke Valencia completed his only pass for 39 yards. Isaac York caught four passes for 81 yards. Eli Lilly added four receptions for 50 yards. Logan Jones returned two kickoffs for 40 yards with a long return of 24 yards. Buddy Collins returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Elijah Adams led the defense with nine solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Gavin Hurst led Franklin County’s ground game with 52 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Kaden Moorman carried the ball 15 times for 44 yards. Henry Clay raced out to a 19-0 lead on their way to a 25-14 victory over Conner. Henry Clay recorded 18 first downs and 381 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 70 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Conner recorded 11 first downs and 151 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.

Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 89 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Jayden Bailey carried the ball 12 times for 42 yards. Blake Van Horn completed 15 of 21 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Jack Kreutzer caught seven passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Paul Malcolm caught three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. Jack Kreutzer returned four punts for 42 yards with a ling return of 15 yards. Donovan Cowan led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Henry Mackey added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards. Kyan Miller recorded five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Daven Kurtz led Conner’s ground game with 37 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Brennan Kahle carried the ball 17 times for 23 yards. Brennan Kahle completed 11 of 19 passes for 85 yards and one touchdown. Tristan Wilson caught two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown. Elliot Butcher returned one kickoff for 48 yards and Kentyn Moore returned one for 25 yards. Ben Fay led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles. Elian Ruzindana added three solo and five assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 31 yards. Frederick Douglass dominated tonight in a 52-7 victory over Bryan Station. Frederick Douglass’ defense held Bryan Station to 78 yards of total offense. Frederick Douglass recorded 11 first downs and 253 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized three times for 37 yards and had one pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded six first downs and 78 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized three times for 30 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

TJ Horton led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 43 yards on eight carries. DeVaun Hart carried the ball 10 times for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Ty Bryant added 23 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Cole Carpenter completed eight of 14 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Donalod Walker completed his only pass for 29 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Dunn caught four passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Howard added three receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. Darion Talbert added a 29 yard TD reception. Ty Bryant returned two punts for 84 yards including a TD return of 79 yards. Brandon Brooks led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles. Latonio Laveall added two solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Darion Neal recorded three solo tackles. Isaiah Kenney intercepted a pass. Cooper Ranvier kicked off eight times with eight touchbacks, added a 38 yard field goal, and converted on five of six extra points.

DeJour Fogle led Bryan Station’s ground game with 28 yards on 11 carries. Joquise Boulder added 24 yards on five carries. Trenton Cutwright carried the ball 10 times for 20 yards. Trenton Cutwright completed four of 16 passes for 21 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Jayden Walker caught two passes for 15 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Watts led the defense with five solo tackles. Nikalos Dixon added four solo and one assisted tackles. Z. Dabney recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss. Paul Laurence Dunbar rolled up 543 yards of total offense in a 47-20 victory over East Jessamine. Dunbar recorded 25 first downs and 543 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized 12 times for 109 yards and had one pass intercepted. East Jessamine recorded 13 first downs and 234 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized six times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Cole Colony led Dunbar’s ground game with 175 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Amontae Flynn carried the ball seven times for 49 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Teall completed 22 of 41 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Browning completed his only pass for a 49 yard touchdown strike. Noah Chapman caught eight passes for 58 yards and a touchdown. J. Biggerstaff added six receptions for 110 yards, Mason Hayslett caught a 49 yard touchdown pass. J. Commodore returned three punts for 62 yards with a long return of 48 yards. Noah Chapman returned two kickoffs for 83 yards with a long return of 50 yards. Desmond Duncan returned one kickoff for 31 yards. Mason Hayslett led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Lexington Catholic defeated Ryle by the score of 27-21 despite being out gained in total yardage 429-281. Lexington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 281 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized six times for 45 yards. Ryle recorded 21 first downs and 429 yards of total offense. The Raiders were penalized eight times for 61 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Walker Hall led the Lexington Catholic ground game with 57 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. Jackson Wasik completed 15 of 21 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns. Hunter Foster caught five passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Walker Hall added five receptions for 23 yards. Max DeGraff caught a 24 yard touchdown pass. Max DeGraff returned three kickoffs for 64 yards. Hayden Dawahare led the defense with five solo and two solo tackles. John Williamson and Blake Foster added four solo and two assisted tackles each. Matthew Kern recorded three solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 82 yards.

Jatce Harden led Ryle’s ground game with 82 yards on 18 carries. Logan Verax carried the ball 12 times for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Jacob Savage added 46 yards on seven carries. Johnson Central utilized their punishing ground game (455 yards and six touchdowns on 60 carries) to defeat Lafayette by the score of 37-8. The Golden Eagle defense held Lafayette to -35 yards rushing and 148 yards total offense. Johnson Central recorded 27 first downs and 455 yards of total offense (all on the ground). The Golden Eagles were penalized four times for 23 yards. Lafayette recorded nine first downs and 148 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized five times for 42 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Zack McCoart added Johnson Central’s ground game with 189 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. Carter Conley added 125 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries. Chase Price recorded 91 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Acob Grimm was zero of one in the passing department. Zack McCoart and Chase Price returned one kickoff each of 23 and 15 yards respectively. Zack McCoart returned one punt for 11 yards. Jesse McCoy led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 23 yards.
