Boyd County coach Randy Anderson started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jacob Spurlock, 6-2 Sr. Ethan Rardon, 6-5 Jr. Caleb Rimmer, 5-10 Sr. Malachi Payne, and 6-2 Sr. Gunner Woods. Daviess County coach Neal Hayden countered with 6-2 Jr. Michael Acton, 6-1 Sr. Jonathan Moss, 6-8 Sr. DeAaron Watkins, 5-9 Sr. Lemontae Ratcliff, and 5-10 Sr. Davyn Randolph.

Daviess County outscored Boyd County 24-11 in the third quarter on their way to an 86-78 victory to claim the championship. There were 16 lead changes and 10 ties in this game. Daviess County shot 59.3% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line. The Panthers connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 12 Boyd County. Boyd County shot 41% from the field including 13 of 32 from beyond the arc. The Lions connected on 15 of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 Daviess County turnovers.

Jonathan Moss led Daviess County with 33 points including three three point baskets, 12 of 12 free throws, two rebounds, and six assists and Was named MVP. DeAaron Watkins added 30 points including two three point baskets, 13 rebounds, and two assists. Michael Acton recorded 18 points including four of six free throws, 11 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.

Malachi Payne led Boyd County with 27 points including four three point baskets, five of five free throws, three rebounds, and seven assists. Jacob Spurlock added 16 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, six rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Gunner Woods recorded 12 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and two steals. 6-1 Jr. Clark Huff chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets and two of two free throws. Caleb Rimmer recorded 10 points including three of four free throws and three rebounds.
