Frederick Douglass coach Murray Garvin started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. DeMarcus Surratt, 6-3 Sr. Thurman Wade, 6-8 Sr. Nate Coen, 5-11 Sr. Daniel Mpiana, and 6-4 Sr. Tate Robinson. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-5 Sr. Luke Asher, 6-5 So. Grayson Burton, 6-8 Sr. Jake Feldhaus, 5-10 Sr. Cam Steele, and 5-11 Sr. Will Richardson.

Madison Central defeated Frederick Douglass 72-61 in a battle of 11th region powers. Madison Central shot 43.2% from the field including 10 of 24 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 34.4% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc. The Broncos connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.

Grayson Burton led Madison Central with 19 points including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, and eight rebounds. Jake Feldhaus added 17 points including eight of 10 free throws, 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Luke Asher recorded 17 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, and six rebounds. Will Richardson chipped I with eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Cam Steele added eight points including two three point baskets and four assists.

Tate Robinson led Frederick Douglass with 23 points including six three point baskets and three rebounds. DeMarcus Surratt added 20 points including five of seven free throws and four rebounds. Nate Coen recorded six points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.
