Lexington Christian Academy defeated Raceland by the score of 25-13. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 12 first downs and 356 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized 11 times for 82 yards. Raceland recorded 25 first downs and 358 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 49 yards.
Leland Edwards led the LCA ground game with 159 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Saxton Howard carried the ball three times for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Nash Whelan completed one of two passes for 46 yards. Paxton Gray caught one pass for 46 yards. Sam Pearson returned one kickoff for 32 yards. Mac Darland led the defense with sive solo and 12 assisted tackles. Hunter Adams added two solo and 15 assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore recorded four solo and seven assisted tackles. Nash Whelan chipped in with four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.
Jonah Arnett led Raceland’s ground game with 77 yards on 14 carries. Shannon Marushi carried the ball 24 times for 75 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Waller added 29 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Jacob Waller completed 17 of 24 passes for 130 yards. Jonah Arnett caught six passes for 51 yards. Parker Ison added four receptions for 35 yards. Jaxon Rister recorded four catches for 23 yards. Shannon Marushi chipped in with three receptions for 21 yards. Parker Ison returned one kickoff for 14 yards. Linden Sammons led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles. Logan Lockwood added two solo and three assisted tackles. Jonah Arnett recorded one solo and three assisted tackles.
