Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup:  5-9 Sr. Kamari Boyd, 5-9 Jr. Kerrigan Davis, 6-0 Jr. Hannah Young, 5-6 So. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-6 Jr. Nakyira Joyce.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 6-0 Sr. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 Jr. Dee Givens, 6-4 Jr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-8 Sr. Ken’yale Demus, and 5-11 Fr. Kiara Pankins.

Henry Clay led Lafayette by a score of 25-21 but Lafayette outscored the Lady Blue Devils 22-8 to gain control of the game and earn a 60-48 victory.  Lafayette shot 40% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 24.2% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 17 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 17 points, five rebounds, and six steals.  Kiara Pankins added 14 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Ken’yale Demus chipped in with10 points and six rebounds.  Ashanti Thomas recorded nine points, seven rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Sarah Cooley added six points and seven rebounds.

Kamari Boyd led Henry Clay with 10 points and eight rebounds.  Nakyira Joyce added nine points.  T’Laya Lyvers chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Kerrigan Davis added seven points and Hannah Young recorded six points and eight rebounds.
