Whitefield Academy coach Chad Carr started the following lineup :6-1 Jr. Andrew Patterson, 6-0 Sr. Nathan Getzin, 6-5 Jr. Kyle Jackson, 5-10 Jr. Chip Adkisson, and 5-11 Sr. James Daily.  Sayre coach Rob Goodman countered with 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 Sr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alex Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.

Sayre fell behind early by a score of 21-11 but rallied to defeat Whitefield Academy by a score of 53-48.  Sayre shot 36% from the field including only one of 19 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Whitefield Academy turnovers.  Whitefield Academy shot 33.3% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Wildcats connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored seven points off 14 Sayre turnovers.

Quinn Pergande led Sayre with 15 points and six rebounds.  Pergande was seven of seven from the field and one of two from the free throw line.  Justin Sanders added 13 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Martin Durmov chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.

Chip Adkisson led Whitefield Academy with 18 points including four three point baskets.  James Daily added 16 points and seven rebounds.  Kyle Jackson recorded seven points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.
