Toyota Classic Georgetown KY (Boys and Girls)
Topic: Basketball

Georgetown KY January 20 and 21st- Day 1 and Day 2.

Tuesday January 20th  -  (Girls) - Scott County defeated Ryle by a score of 73-69.  5-11 Jr. Madisen Webb and 5-9 So. Kristen Stainback led Scott County with 20 points each.  Webb also recorded nine rebounds, nine assists, and six steals.  Stainback pulled down 16 rebounds.  5-9 So. Alex McKenzie recorded 19 points and nine rebounds.  5-10 Fr. Jenna Crittendon led Ryle with 21 points and nine rebounds.  5-10 Fr. Sydney Moss added 16 points and eight rebounds.  5-6 So. Abby Jump chipped in with 15 points including five three point baskets. 

Wednesday January 21st  -  (Girls) - Lafayette defeated Ryle by a score of 63-38.  5-8 Jr. Lisa Hack added Lafayette with 22 points.  5-7 Jr. Ali Ross added 15 points including four three point baskets.5-10 Fr. Sydney Moss led Ryle with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

(Boys) - Tates Creek defeated Covington Catholic by a score of 56-48.  6-3 So. Marcellus Barksdale led the Commodores with 17 points and eight rebounds.  6-2 So. Ryan Fucci added 13 points.  6-4 Jr. Myles Potter chipped in with 11 points.  6-3 Sr. Luke Maile led Covington Catholic with 22 points.  5-11 Sr. Alex Ives added 16 points including four three point baskets.

(Boys) - Male defeated Montgomery County by a score of 70-42.  6-3 Sr. Tony Horne led Male with 13 points and nine rebounds.  6-0 So. Kevin Glenn added 13 points.   5-11 Sr. D'Carlo Hayes recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  5-10 Sr. Cody Curtis led Montgomery County with 12 points including three three point baskets.  6-4 Sr. Derrick Robinson added 11 points and 10 rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Azrey Crisp recorded three points and nine rebounds.  Montgomery County suffered a setback when 6-3 Sr. guard Brandon Rash went down early with an injury.
