WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Rep. John Murtha said Wednesday his home base of western Pennsylvania is racist and that could reduce Barack Obama's victory margin in the state by 4 percentage points.
The 17-term Democratic congressman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in a story posted Wednesday on its Web site: "There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area."
I thought, it's a good thing this guy is not running for office this year.
But guess what? He IS running and his opposition is not unimpressive.

An American Carol, debuted last night nationwide, and perhaps no place outside of San Francisco would be more hostile to it than New York City. However, RevYou’s Grace Randolph manages to find many filmgoers coming out of the debut showing, and they seem rather pleased with the results. Well, except for one man, who turns out to have an interesting profession.

What Crisis? There's no Crisis looming.
The mean spirited Republicans just want to scare people,
Because they don't want lower income families being able to afford to own their own homes.
Democrats in their own words Covering up the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Scam that caused our Economic Crisis.
At a 2004 hearing see Democrat after Democrat covering up and attacking the regulations to protect Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (their Cash Cows) that are now destroying our economy because the Democrats let them cheat.
And after 4 years have come and gone, after all that was warned has come to pass. It seems everything is still the fault of the Mean spirited Republicans.
If you want to see a perfect example of bi-partisan spirit,
if you wish to see how this country can end division, be unified,
listen and read the words of Speaker of the House Pelosi

I was particularly impressed at all the credit Pelosi gave to Franks. Why she was almost as enthusiastic about him, as Maxine Waters was of Frank Raines back in 2004.
