Christmas Memories"
I have had a lot of good memories from Christmas and every year I have even more. Every Christmas, our whole family gets together at my Grandma's house. We watch movies and listen to music. My Grandpa even has a underground cooker, so we barbeque all sorts of meat to eat for our christmas dinner. We have turkey, mash potatoes and gravy, pies, tamales, and all kinds of different foods to eat, too. We play cards and checkers and just wait til' Santa comes. Every year, one of our family members dresses up as Santa and comes to the house, with a big red bag. It's fun to find out whether it's my dad, cousin, uncle, or big brother. Some year, I know It'it will be my turn to be Santa for all of my brothers and little cousins. After Santa comes and delivers all of our presents at midnight, we usually thank all of our family for a glorious Christmas. I don't really believe in Santa, but I know that his spirit has to be real. Usually, all of this is taken place on Christmas Eve. The day after that, we open our presents early in the morning, that are from our parents. Last year, I got a basketball, Nintendo 64, a new bike, movies, clothes, an art kit, and a new jacket. That Christmas was really special to me and all of my family. I can't hardly wait til' next Christmas when it will be even better!

Hello. My name is Robert I'm one of the 6,000,000 Jehovahs Witnesses in the world. I heard that you and your class wanted to find out about what are some people traditions for Christmas around the world. As a Jehovahs Witness I do not celebrate Christmas because Jesus was not born on December 25. He was born about October 1,a time of the year when shepherds kept their flocks out-of-doors at night. Jesus never commanded Christians to celebrate his birth. Rather, he told his disciples to memorialize,or remember his death. So this is why I don't celebrate Christmas

Dear Ms. Prather,

Hey, my name Vincent and my teacher has told me to tell you about what my family do for Christmas. Usaully we kids wake up at 7:00 am and open our presents. It's not much, but that's what we do.
Vincent

We have alot of different traditions on Christmas but my favorite one is when my grandma makes tamles. She does that every Christmas. All my family from my moms side goes to my grandmas house, I have a lot of fun because I see all of my cousins that I don't see very often. That was some of the traditions that we do on my moms side of the family now her is some that we do on my dads side of the family, but on my dads family we don't really have traditions because my grandma likes to do stuff different every Christmams. But the one tradition that we do have is that my grandma don't really like to have alot of family over. Monique
