Favorite Chirstmas and Memories of Mrs. McNutt's Class

We are located in South Central Kansas. We are about 50 miles South of Wichita, Kansas. Winfield is the home of Rubbermaid products. We were also the home of Binney & Smith Crayola factory. It closed here a couple of years ago. Our school is a multi-age school. My class is a 2/3rd grade combination. We have a family style atmosphere at our school. Our school has around 150 children in it. We are a country school located East of Winfield, Kansas.

'Hope you enjoy our stories.

My favorite Christmas was when I went to Coffeyville, Kansas. We went ot see my grandma and grandpa. I left a letter for santa asking for some roller blades. We also left him some cookies and milk. When I woke up in the morning I some CD's, roller blades, diary, hockey set, and a game. I thought that day was special because I got to spend time with my family.

I get up on Christmas Day. Then I go wake up my parents. I tell them it CHRISTMAS!! Then I go get my stocking and dump it out. We eat breakfast. Everybody then comes to my house. We visit for awhile. I then get to open up my presents. After all the presents are opened we go to our grandma's house and open up presents.

On Christmas I usually get up and eat breakfast first. Then I open presents and we got to our grandma's house and open presents. My favorite present ever is a remote control car.

My family tradition is when we go to my grandma and grandpa's house in Kansas City for Christmas. Every year we have dinner at 7:30. That night we hang our stockings up on the fireplace. We each have our own stocking that has our names on it. That night we all spend the night at grandma's.
Sarah

Every Christmas we open our presents. Then we open our stockings. After that we have breakfast. We then go over to grandma's house. We spend the night at grandma's.
