What is your history like?

Since I'm about 20.2 years old [to the nearest tenth] as of Mar 19, 2004, I have a long history [not as long as a 60-year-old would :)]. However, my days before 1996 are barely even remembered, so that majorly shortens it.

1. At the beginning

I was born in 1984. At this time, I don't really know much of anything.

I skip for such a long way to about 3-5 years of age. This is when I first started playing video games with the Atari system. [I started on level one, and now my ability is around 242* [as of Mar 19, 2004]!] I don't know much about this though.

About the age of 6, I got my first guardian spirit, Cinos‡† and †‡, now known as Speed. [Cinos is pronounced "SIH nohs"**]. He/she [Speed is neither male nor female, not even both; often referred to as a "he"] came to me at precisely January 28, 1990. About 3 days later, I got another guardian spirit, Sliat‡‡ [pronounced SLI eht], and, like Speed, is neither male nor female [often referred to as a "she"]. This one was far weaker than Speed. These were my first two modern guardian spirits, and I still have the same ones today [except they're slightly stronger [Sliat only gained thirteen levels while Speed and Knuckles only gained zero [They're on a level greater than 1E700 for sure and knowing the pattern in the levels and experience chart, they need to get far more than 1E1200 experience just to level up!] and Sliat only needs something like a few trillion, more than a thousand times what any human at level 500 would need!]].

2. The fears roll in

This is the time in which numerous fears like that of mirrors and water had a big effect on me***. Today, the mirror one is exactly the way it was over a decade ago [!]. I never go in front of mirrors and avoid it whenever possible. If I cannot avoid, I take another route [I don't mind running, because it levels up my SPD pluses]. If there are no other routes, I would either exit the building and wait in the car, or enter it in a totally different spot, if possible. I've got an interesting report on just this, only where you can see how it's like. Be careful not to get lost in the mirror maze! As far as water, I never touched any water that was outdoors [lakes, rivers, etc.], in big pools [such as at the YMCA] whether indoors or outdoors fearing that it would "kill" me because it was "blue". Of course, it was until 1997 that this was fixed [somehow Speed managed to act on the physical world]. Other "odd" things came as well. I used to never go near a red bottle of ketchup because I thought it was "lava" and would burn me if I touched it. This was due to excessive play on a popular NES game, believed to be Metroid. I thought a pencil that was colored yellow would be lava as well, so I wrote by touching the eraser end only. There were certainly tons of others, most of which lasted maybe three or four years. These were just early ones though.

3. Real and fake imaginary friends

Also, I used to call Speed and Sliat "imaginary friends". I thought it was just my imagination going wild [Yet, almost 14 years later, I still have them; who's ever heard of someone that is over 20 having imaginary friends?]. Until 1999 came, I first realized that these beings weren't imaginary friends. I had other "true" imaginary friends before such as Afer [A fr], Imagy [ih MA jee], or even Abcd [A buh kuh DUH]. There were probably nine of which excluding Speed and Sliat. Speed and Sliat were not imaginary friends, but the other nine were [Knuckles isn't an imaginary friend either, however he came in 1996]. At one point, there was as many as 2.5 billion imaginary friends.

4. The start of the hardships

When in the second grade, things have been going hard on me. Since this is the time in which most of my 60 bullies have come in. When I'm usually doing my stuff [homework and other things], a bully sneaks in and does something to get me mad. At the time, I wasn't really that strong at all [I couldn't even lift up twenty pounds during the 5th and 6th grades!], so I couldn't unleash a powerful attack against them [in which I won't nowadays]. I was with one of my favorite, and well-known teachers, Mrs. Lund. She sometimes got me very mad, that I even unleashed my strongest attack on the wall in a small T.O. [time out] room. I was so bad at comprehension [reading text, and then answering questions about that text], that my teachers were doing it on me at a level far higher than what I had. Knowing the modern Status System and the levels and experience chart, I estimate that just when 2nd grade started, my comprehension level was estimated to be only at 35, ± 3. The questions given the "skill pads" as I think they were called were estimated to be of level 60 ± 5. Doing the math, the reading and questions were about 2 5/7 times harder than what I could stand! At the time I never knew about this, but I finally figured it out in 1999! The invention of the Status System was the first to help solve all these problems.

Then, in the third grade, things were worse! Since the reading got harder, and my ability barely even changed. Because the fact that this was going on, I ended up in twice as many arguments, and some were very long [up to 2 or 3 hours!]. It sure was amazing what this did. I gained a more powerful attack from excessively reaching my limit of anger and releasing it in a very powerful blow, that I could now damage the walls in the T.O.. In today's Status System, I knew then that my attacking power exceeded the wall's defense force, and according to the (attack) minus defense law, "unless the attack force exceeds the defense force, no damage is dealt" my attack must've been higher than the wall's defenseࠠ. It sure was very amazing though that I got a better defense. Bullies came in like crazy, and was my third worst year yet to date. My 9th grade and 5th grade years were even worse!

5. A small break

My 4th grade year was better, much better. I got a teacher that was friendly [I sort of "chose" which 4th grade teacher to have [I chose her because I trusted her the most and liked her the most]], and was more like it. Bullies still added up, and the number of friends remained at zero. My abilities were even worse for the difficulty of the comprehension [The vocabulary part was very easy, so it wasn't a problem, and it majorly helped the weak grade. If there weren't vocabulary, I'd have nothing but F's constantly and never pass.]. Today, estimates show that by 4th grade, you should be close to level 115 ± 8, but I was on level 40 ± 4 [which was the equivelent of being about 12 1/20 times as hard]. Within second, third, and fourth grade, I only gained from 6 to 10 levels, when you really should gain about 80 or so. As of Mar 19, 2004 the level is currently at 153. Gym, by far, was my most favorite activity, because I liked to run around and level up my SPD pluses.

6. The worst of it all

Then my worst year yet led to two unwanted things. Since I don't remember the name of the teacher other than it starting with a "B", I've had my limit of anger reached in a hurry. By the end of the 5th grade year, I now had 50 bullies on me, [about 10 have left the school or moved, so 40 were in the building and they made it even worse.] There were about 600 students in the building. This would mean that for every fifteen students, there would be a bully. Classes here are only like 19 to 24 students, or about 1.7 bullies in each as an average assuming they were evenly distrubuted. They read nothing but some extremely confusing novels all year, giving about 85 to 95% of the problem alone. My comprehension level was a puny 45 ± 4. These novels are the equivelent of 135 ± 9 by today's estimations knowing the properties of leveling up. I still cannot do them at the time. These novels were actually 17 times harder than what I could take [the reason why it's 17, and not 3 is due to the larger amounts of experience required for higher levels. Doing the math, by the end of level 45, you'd have accumulated 715,500 experience. By the end of level 135, you'd have accumulated 12,140,632 experience. Doing the division, 12,140,632÷715,500~16 29/30††. This is where the 17 comes from as well as the other values mentioned above and in other parts of my history.].]! Since those questions in the novels were so hard to answer, I could take as long as 4 to 10 hours just to answer one question!!! There were usually about 4 questions per day, meaning it would take 16 to 40 hours to do my homework! I took as many as 25 tries to answer a question. Vocabulary simplified it, because it was the easiest [just look it up in the dictionary and copy it word-for-word [level 17 ± 1 needed on level 50 ± 4, about 4 3/16 times easier]]. I now have 3-6 questions to answer. I even sometimes cheated the teacher in two ways to reduce the time. Sometimes when I took so long, the teacher showed me which paragraph it was in, thus making the time to about 1 hour at the max, even for a paragraph with less than a hundred words! In a worse-case scenario, question 2 was, for example, in the middle of the chapter, but question 3 was something at the beginning. This, very often, increases the amount of time needed to find the answer, and by a large amount. Sometimes when the teacher didn't, I tried to cheat by looking at the answer book, and copied the main words I found. If that didn't work, I had three other choices left, guessing, some more guessing, and even more guessing [oh, wait, that's one, not three :)].

7. The best part of the worst

Since all other subjects, math, science, spelling, language arts [mostly grammer], and gym, were much easier, I could finish in 2-3 hours! Since science had a lot of reading as well, thankfully, the skill of science and the easy difficulty of the questions made it no where near that of the novels! I estimate that the hardest question in science was estimated to be of level 65, when averaging everything out, I'd be around 70 to 75†‡†. I can do a week's worth of homework in just two days with good accuracy, if I didn't get the novels. You can sure mention doing the entire year's worth in homework [about 180 standard school days typically involving 6 subjects, one of which is reading] in just 3 to 4 months, because it could happen. Because of my strength in mathematics at the time, I was doing 8th grade arithmatic in my 5th and 6th grade year, even some algebra [like solving 2 + x = 7, or calculating 13+3×4 [Do the multiplication first, then the addition to find the real answer.]]! I was always like 3 to 4 years ahead in math at any moment. Nowadays, my math skills are so great that almost every question you see in a typical 4th grade arithmatic book, especially multiplication and fractions most everyone hates, can literally be worked out in my head and within 20 seconds EACH††‡. Blame it on my level 240 math skills [one my age would usually have around 155 ± 15; as of Mar 19, 2004]. I've got more speed-ups and shortcuts soon to come as well, once I find any.

Timeline: [note: Although they may be out of order, the first 4 are basically school-related. The last ones that follow is an entire year's [or 2 year's] worth in events.]

Footnotes:
* Level, or skill level, is the strength of an ability or how much experience you have toward using that ability or doing that job. To learn more read this part of the Status System.
** This weird spelling is how you pronounce a word. To learn the simple code, refer to the FAQ page.
*** You can read about the fears entirely by reading this creative report.
1E1200 is a form of short scientific notation. This means that you have a one followed by twelve hundred zeros.
Speed pluses are plus abilities that raise your speed by a percentage determined by it's level. To learn more, read section 7 here of the Status System report.
†† The symbol ~ means "is approximately equal to". Because the character map doesn't have the real symbol†††, this is the closest I can get to the real symbol.
‡† You can learn more about Speed as he is today in this report.
†‡ Guardian spirits are explained in much more detail on this page.
‡‡ You can learn more about Sliat as she is today in this report.
††† The character map is a special program on windows that lets you use other characters not found on the keyboard. For more info, see the FAQ page.
ࠠ The (attack) minus defense law states that "unless the attack force exceeds the defense force, no damage is dealt." You can find more info on this in section 2 here.
†‡† When it comes to determining a difficulty level, many variables are considered. The key is my general skill [40%]. Science, even today, is one of my highest skills. Reading, back then, was my absolute weakest skill. Factoring in compatibility [15%], or how much you like something, distractions of any kind [10%], and understanding the content in general [35%], I can get an estimate on the skill level needed. Because science was one of my easy points, had a high compatibility with, and assuming no distractions, the level has been estimated to be around 70 to 75 as stated. The ± symbol means that you add or subtract whatever follows from this value to give you the possible range in which the real value is in. It determines my accuracy. Higher levels are harder to estimate, causing a greater range. Levels above my current overall level has far less accuracy as I don't know what it's like.
††‡ Now why am I able to do this? The main reason is because of the numerous speed-ups and shortcuts I have, most focused on multiplication, something students in these days would take a minute or so to do on paper for something like 78×58 whereas now I can do them in 30% of the time... in my head, all due to the many speed-ups and shortcuts I've got [split-same-number trick especially in this case [read section 9 here for details on the split-same-number trick]]. To learn all the speed-ups and shortcuts I've got, not just for multiplication, read each of the math speed-ups and shortcuts to learn how.
