To Sow - a Tetramorphic Command - ESDC

Sow -
by Lord Rassilon

In cell and cloister, in monastery and synagogue: Some fear hell and others dream of Paradise.
But no man who really knows the secrets of his God has planted seeds like this within his heart.

-Omar Khayyam
You reap what you sow. The reality is you reap as you sow, because when we sow we are sowing in the present. When you follow a course of action it plants a seed in your own soul. Whether it's a person who does spiteful and cruel things, or a person who does kind and loving things, they are programming their own behaviors into those patterns, making such actions more likely in the future. Thus a person who worries excessively is more likely to create worrisome situations for themselves.

'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction' is a well-known law of Newtonian physics, but herein lies the secret of Karma and Three-fold law. When you perform a course of action, any results you gain, whether you like them or not, are a result of your initial action. The Christian who goes to Hell, the Hindu who reincarnates as a frog, and a child spanked for disobedience all are examples of choosing ones destiny.

For example let's take Wicca student X. Wicca student X decides to cast a love spell on Wicca student Y. It works like a charm (pun intended). Wicca student X gets showered with attention and completely has Wicca student Y. Things are good for a while, but after a time X notices Y is not as bright or charming, or even as genuinely loving as before the spell. X wants out of the relationship. Y doesn't want it to end, and begins to stalk and terrorize X. Ultimately X is responsible for their situation. Most love spells are in reality 'mind control' spells. By sapping Y's will and perceptions, the scary stalker stuff was apart of the change X sowed.

When one does a path working directed to something one knows is not right or proper then there will always be a psychic backlash. This is because no matter how warped a person's values are, there is an imprint of universal law on the mind of all sentient beings. Regardless of their beliefs or conscience, they become subject to Karma, or Threefold law.

In reality, Karma or Threefold law only exist as a result of violating the Universal laws established by the Creator. This is where the concept of 'Grace' enters into Christian, Buddhist and Hindu thought. Grace is the freedom to act towards any goal or desire without violating the Universal laws. Like a spider spins its' web, the over all design of your life is yours.
