Subject: something funny

hi, i am fine. just returned from another long session of waiting with a Palestinian cab driver to get his I.D. back, late into the night, it failed. but i have decided to tell you something funny for once, no horror stories tonite. first off, we sleep on the roof of our building, one of the higher buildings in town at a whopping 5 stories, the stars are beautiful. from last night, i remember my bizarre dream in even more bizarre detail. Anyway, last night i dreamt that i was back in the states, i had someones' car, i went to a barbeque restaurant and ordered an 8 person family meal and a 16 pack of Busch beer {cans} and proceeded on foot to a bridge {which i think was the overpass in my childhood home in Illinois} where i came across Snoop Dog {the rapper, not the cartoon dog} and we were chatting {no big deal apparently} when a big grey ape ambled towards us. We were slightly scared, also curious. he continued to approach us, Snoop told me that he was no expert, but that he HAD previously owned a monkey and knew a few things about primates. he said we shouldn't ever turn our back to the grey ape. the ape went to the side of the bridge and jumped off, but when he spread his arms big wings came out and he flew in circles around the bridge. he landed and then took off again, with Snoop and i taking great care to not turn our backs to him. he flew very well. Then i woke up. strange, eh? Ben
