Don is a 24 year member of the Beloit Men's Bowling Association, he has been a member of several league championship teams.

He wa a member of the first all star team in the 190 and under average division in 1993-94. He has bowled in the VFW State Tournament several times, winning singles, doubles with his partner William Williams, and scratch all events.

Don has attended 11 national ABC Tournaments, including the past ten years. He has a career high game of 300 in the unsanctioned NFL League at Cougar Lanes in Clinton, WI. His next high game was a 289 and his high series is 714.

He was appointed to the Greater Beloit Bowling Council in 1986 and is still serving. He has been a BMBA director, vice prsident, president and is presently in his fifth year as treasurer
