So just what makes this town as
homey as I think it is? To start off with I
think it is very Gay Friendly, although some others
may not think as much. But I feel deep down it is very
friendly. I like to share with you,some

Kendallville is a small town trying to grow,
and they are, it has some very nice Parks to
visit, and the town I must say is very neat and
clean, they take Pride in their town. If you
come to Kendallville and need some info the
best place to start off with is the Chamber of
Commerce,
they have all kinds of imformation to
help guide you to a wonderful visit here, the
Chamber is located at 122 South Main street in Downtown Kendallville. Kendallville has a Mayor and his name is Mayor Larry J McGahen. Kendallville has a mission statement, To promote and to devlope the character of the City of Kendallville, through a cooperative leadership and involvement from Business,and Industry, and the Community at large. Kendallville has 3 Elementary Schools, 1 Middle School, 1 High School. The first School in Kendallville was erected in 1858. We also have a YMCA. The place that I have visited, and enjoy to spend time at Bixler Lake, it has 117-acres,it has more than 320 acres of municipal parkland, it also includes wintertime ice skating,and hockey,ice fishing, in the summer it has 2 sandy beaches to swim from,and sail boating, which is a summer past time, it also has a nature walk trail through a lovely wooded area,basketball courts,softball fields, archery
range,tennis courts,a beautiful playground,and picnic pavillions, at the south end you will find a very nice campground wth 90 sites to park your camper. 75 acers of wetland, a youth center, that provides excerise programs, tumbling, gymnastics, roller skating nites,crafts classes, and boxing classes,this is a must to visit and enjoy your stay here if you do not enjoy your stay then you have lost out,I personally could not understand why you would not enjoy yourself. We also have a park located on the West side of Kendallville, called the Sunset Park, it has soccer fields and football fields, it has 4 softball fields,and 2 basketball courts,this park has a unique aspect to it. They rent space to residents for gardening spots, now thats what I call very nice and Family oriented.

I must say this is a very nice place to visit and to gain all the knowledge you like to,the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks Ladies, my hat is off to you all.
