Bug cont...

Well,
it took all of 5 minutes for everyone in this house, human,
canine and feline to fall in love and for him to become
everyone's Baby Bug! He is the most 'human' needy little guy and
he adores my husband. (They always know who they have to butter
up, don't they.) Bug sleeps on hubby's neck at night, he always
seems to be cold.
He
has endured 3 urinary tract infections, a case of ringworm, his
growth is stunted from mal-nutrition and we are still battling an
eye socket infection, but he is improving. Even with very limited
vision in his remaining eye, he plays with all the other cats and
has learned to navigate the house extremely well. Of course none
of them, no matter what shape they are in have trouble finding
the food bowl!

He
and Boof, who is blind also, have formed a special relationship.
They stick close together and seem to discuss the pitfalls of
blindness and how lucky they are to have found a home where they
are much loved inspite of it. Sometimes there are animals that
you just have to give a second chance to. They demand it. Bug is
one of those animals. One day he will be full grown, and we will
look back on this time and marvel at how tiny and courageous our
little Baby Bug was.
