SOLIDS

Solid particles-

contain the least amount of energy. Their motion is not strong, so the particle is not able to push other particles out of the way. Because of this, the
particles of a solid object are crunched close together and the motion seems to be a vibration.

Solids  (harmonically bound nucleii)

Solids have particles that are always arranged in a very good order that has boundaries and a shape that can be molded. They have a volume that does not change because of the particles, which are stuck so close to each other. The particles are packed together which makes it hard. Unlike gases and liquids whose particles are not packed as closely to each other.
