Liquid particles-
have lot's of energy to push other particles out of the way. When the particles of a liquid crash into each other, they push the particles farther away and move past away from them. This makes the "flow" of a liquid.
Liquids
-
As the grabbing energy to the lattice site is overthrown by
thermal energy, the molecules inside of the solid may slip away past each other, but may aslo
can keep close contact to each other.
-
The final resulting substance is fluid, but it is not as compressible.
-
Some long range radial ordering persists, but most of the time, only
over the size of a few molecular diameters
