Upon times of crisis, she was always left to mind the people. During the war of the Ring, Eowyn fell in love with Aragorn but when he let her down gently, she seeked out for glory and death in battle. She disguised herself as Dernhelm and rode out with the Muster of Rohan. She and Merry fought the Witch King in Pelennor Fields but were injured greatly. During his years as King, he fell into the spell of Saruman and the counselor Grima Wormtongue. He was able to recover from the spell with thanks to Gandalf the White. He led his army through the Battle of Helm's Deep and Battle at Pelennor Fields but fell defending Minas Tirith on March 15, 3019 TA. He was 71. He was the last of the second line and was succeeded by his nephew, Eomer. His name means 'ruler'.
GRIMA (WORMTONGUE), SON OF GALMOD
Nothing much is known of Grima other than that he was a Rohirrim and son of Galmod. He is a servant of the traitor Sarmuan and served as the counselor for Theoden during his frail years.
