A movie starring, Jet Li, DMX, Mark
Dacascos, Kelly Hu and Tom Arnold; what can possibly go wrong when you even add
- Matrix producer: Joel Silver to the mix? Well the result is a underdeveloped
hip-hop, plot-less kung-fu movie. So what went off the rail? Well, action movies
without a plot is not a problem, and actually Cradle 2 the Grave have a pretty
good idea, but the reality is that FANS WANT ACTION ACTION ACTION! That's not to
say Cradle have no action, in fact it has a lot, but the camera movements and
editing was bad and too quick. Not one fight scene was seen clearly and none
lasted longer than 1 minute 30 seconds in exception for the Li Vs Cage Fighters.
If only the director Andrzej Bartkowiak show down the camera movement for once,
would have been a hell lot better. Disappointed well, I think any action/martial
arts fans would be, but if you just try to enjoy the movie - it wasn't too bad.
The good and likable villains in Kelly Hu and
MarkDacascos
out played even the leads - Jet Li and DMX, but their screen time was too
little. Not to mention, Jet also has a very limited screen time when comparing
to DMX and his talents are defiantly wasted for the 4th time around, but it does
improve from the awfully boring The One. Well if you don't mind the fast-editing
of fight scene and is a fan of the above stars then this movie won't be as bad
to you as to me.
