Font Sizes:
You want to make sure your text is attractive and fits in the space you have provided for it. Also, you may want to draw attention to a certain heading. There are two ways to go about making your font larger or smaller.
The most common way is to insert the tag: <font size=#> Replace the # with a number 1-7; 1 being the smallest and 7 being the largest.

For example:
Font size is 1

Font size is 2

Font size is 3

Font size is 4

Font size is 5

Font size is 6

Font size is 7

Then, after the word(s) that you want to have at that particular size, you will need to insert the ending tag: </font>. The </font> brings the text back to normal size.

The second way is to insert the tag: <H#> You'd replace the # with a number 1-6; this time 1 is the largest and 6 is the smallest.

For example:

Font is H1

Font is H2

Font is H3

Font is H4

Font is H5
Font is H6

Then, after the word(s) that you want a particular size, you insert the ending tag: </H#> replacing the # with the number you used before the text. Otherwise the rest of your text will be this size.

Font Colors:
Bored of the standard black font? It is worth mentioning that you have to spell color the US way and not colour, the English way. Specifying font color is a lot like specifying font size. The only difference is that you insert a color attribute in your font tag.

For example:

<font color=red>Now your font color is red</font>

You can use standard names like red, green, blue, yellow, purple, cyan, black etc. for basic colors. Insert your text that you want red, where I have written "Now your font color is red."

Hexadecimal Colors
Hexadecimal Colors are 6 digit codes which are used to express the amount of red, blue and green in any given color.

For example:

<font color=#FF0000>Now your font color is red</font>

All you have to do is change the FF0000 to a different value such as 0099FF to change your font color. To close your font color tag, don't forget to use </font> otherwise the rest of your text will be that particular colo. This is just a small sample of the colors you can use. For a more indepth view see the Webmonkey Color Codes.

Font Faces:

You can also change what font you have on your page. In order to change your font face just insert the font name where the Times is.

For Example:

<font face="Times">This is Times New Roman</font>
