Irwin Keyes is probably best known for his role as Ravelli in House of 1000 Corpses. What you may not have know is that he has quite an extensive acting career, from t.v. series to movies to even voices for video games! Some surprising facts you may not have know about Irwin are his roles in the following movies/t.v. series: The Exterminator & Exterminator 2, Laverne & Shirley, The Jeffersons, Moonlighting, Married with Children, thirtysomething, Tales From the Crypt, The Flintstones (movie), and CSI. That's just touching scratching the surface! I've never had the pleasure of meeting Irwin but I hope to one day. I did have the pleasure of doing a fun little interview with him recently, though!
1. What was your favorite thing to dress up as for Halloween in childhood?
Halloween in the 1960'S...I think my costume was always a hobo...We were poor people and didn't have money for fancy Batman or Superman Costumes...

You've been in quite a few horror movies. Which one was your favorite & why?
Favorite horror film was "HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES." It was such a good film. I was proud to have the chance to work in it.

Going to conventions you have met a lot of famous people, who is your favorite?
I like them all. My favorite people at horror conventions are the fans I meet. I find people interesting when I talk to them.

Who was your favorite director to work with?
Favorite Director...Woody Allen or the Coen Brothers...or Rob Zombie...Maybe the Zucker Bros...or David Lynch... Can't answer... loved them all.

What made you get into acting?
I started doing plays in college. Found I could do it... well.

A horror film has to surprise me...jump in my seat!
