Overview:
In comparison to other nights, this one was relatively calm. It started off with the announcement that the Prince would not be holding court, claiming that he was going to maintain watch over his section of the border and that the Fireworks Festival would be good cover for a Sabbat attack. Whispers were heard that he was still angry over being kept in Elysium for an extended period during the last court.
The Brujah Archon, Theo Bell, arrives suddenly in the city to speak to the Brujah. It appears that his purpose is to sort out the scandal surrounding who actually saved the Toreador Primogen during the Sabbat attack a month earlier. The meeting is closed to those outside the Brujah but Elder Adonis (Toreador), Primogen Montclair (Toreador) and Primogen Gates (Malkavian) are called to attend for short periods of time. Everything appears to have been settled and the Archon leaves as quickly as he appeared.
Darius, the Nosferatu Whip, has managed to set up a meeting with the elusive Justin at a local bar. As he arrives at the meeting, Justin gets spooked (possibly seeing obfuscated Kindred hiding near the meeting) and attempts to leave. He is confronted in the parking lot by the Sheriff and is promptly dread gazed into fleeing. Before he can make good his escape he is incapacitated by a hail of silenced gunfire from Lucian's Response Team, under the command of Francois D'Anjou (Ventrue), as the obfuscated Nosferatu keep his car from leaving. The Nosferatu Primogen, Nicholas Lune, quickly whisks the body away before mortals in the area deduce what is going on.
During the interrogation that follows it is found out that Justin is an Anarch and there is some speculation that he is not the true Justin that was active in the city in previous times. He is turned over to the Prince for further interrogation.
