Darkness Reigns LARP: Session 5 Synopsis "The Sword and the Dagger"

Synopsis: Session 5 - "The Sword and the Dagger"

Back to Session 5 Summeries

Observations of Jason Gates (Clan Malkavian, Primogen):

The night was warm and humid. The Prince(G) did not hold court, the city was not told why. The Gangrel Primogen had announcements to make and went around asking if anyone minded if HE held court in the Prince's abscence. Upon reflection, perhaps holding court without the Prince was a bad idea, it remains to be seen.

The Keeper(t) was away on vacation, Isaac Dunhill(m) filled in temporarily assuming the promotion from his asst. status. No problems were reported.

Someone called in an Archon to settle a dispute. The Archon(B) called Primogen Gates(m) and Primogen Palmer(b) and some other Brujah before him and asked about the Sabbat attack from a month previous. Apparently there was a matter of Status that needed to be settled. Am unclear whether or not it was settled, Harpy(v) will settle matters.

Justin Connery captured, more info as it developes.

Dr. Netchurch(M) was delivered a severed head, and brought it to Elysium. Why it was sent to Netchurch is unclear. No one appears to know who the head belongs to, or where it was sent from.

It was a very warm night, and it was very humid.

Observations of Ol' Eddy (Clan Malkavian):

Quite an intersting night. Without the prince around, the primogen intended to hold court. so, I waited for it. The court was postponed numerous time, though, because of various events within the city, including a visit to the city by an archon. I didn't hear that he'd killed anyone, but that's usually what happens when archons come that openly, so I was a bit surprised. So, his presence monopolized a lot of the city's kindred, while the rest seemed to be occupied with the capture of Justin. Elysium was rather quiet; a good night for the keeper to be away.

Within elysium, most of the kindred seemed occupied either with speculation as to the two main events of the night, so I continued to socialize, as is my want to do when court is held. Finally, after several hours, court was held; simple changes in status, mostly.

The only other item of interest was the severed head delivered by Dr. Netchurch. Appearantly, it was delivered to his hospital, and addressed to Mr. Sharp. The head itself had been set up as a message for him, that the arsonists want him dead, and are coming for him. I hope he'll be ready for it.

All and all, Elysium was pretty quiet. A much different story than you'll likely get from those who were involved in the capture of Justin, but there you are.
