Ride up these platforms while avoiding the enemies.
Normally, I'd skip these power-ups, but if you insist on getting them, use the Fire Wave to blow these gas tanks up.
After getting this power up, slide right into the wall. You'll go through the wall to get a hidden extra life.
Now we're getting down to the nitty gritty stuff! Dash jump off the highest point on the platforms to the left. If you hold left, you'll find a Heart Tank.
Blast this Turn Cannon with two fully-charged shots and jump onto the lift.
Instead of breaking through the glass and coming up against a Gun Volt, climb up the unbroken glass, climb the wall, slide up across the wall and slide down the other side.
Now you can break the glass and get the Sub-Tank, but don't go any farther to the left of the sub-tank!
Take the heat of this Flamer if you have to, but fire two fully-charged shots at him.
If you find a scenario like the screenshot, you can dash jump from one platform to the next over the Flamer. Just make sure the flamer is at its lowest point, and the platform you are on is at its highest point.
Blast the tanks and go right to get this extra life.
Right after the half-way point, you should see a metal pillar. Slide down to the right middle of it, then dash-jump to the right. Blow the tanks to Hell and proceed.
Fire mid-charged shots at these Battle De Voux, and beware the Sky Claws.
Dash jumps are essential for getting past these platforms, which fall 1/2 second after you step on them.
Jump over the missiles that the Death Rogumer's cannons throw at you.
Collect the power-ups to the left of this platform.

When Storm Eagle flaps his wings, slide towards him while powering up your X-Buster, then fire when you have a clear shot.
When Storm Eagle fires his Storm Tornado, slide until you are clear of the weapon.
Jump over or slide under Storm Eagle when he dives. |
