Why did you make this site? I made this site simply because I love the Super NES Game Mega Man X by Capcom. I loved the game even before I bought it, and even so much as to rent it a great many times before I bought it. I remember that in the summer of 1994, I had never even heard of Mega Man X; all I ever played was Mario. My step-brother (now adopted brother), Mike, and his former friend, Donnie, had brought it home on rental from the Fairchance Pharmacy. I walked out of the room, thinking it was just another game. When I walked in to tell them I was going outside with my friends Justin and Ryan, I saw Launch Octopus sucking down X's energy, and from that moment, I couldn't be without the game. I bought the game later on that summer, and still own it (and play it) today. I still find neat things about it, especially now that I have the ROM on my hard drive. What apps did you use to make this site? First, I loaded up the MMX ROM image with The UnOfficial Snes9x emulator, and set the controls to save a screenshot (an image of what frame is currently on the game screen) when I pushed one of the extra buttons on my Gravis Gamepad Pro controller. Then I hooked my Super Nintendo up to my computer and recorded the sounds with GoldWave. Then I used Adobe Photoshop 5.5 to make my image slices, rollovers, menu and all other images/animations (including wallpapers). Then I used my HP Precision ScanJet 5200 (scanner) to scan the battered manual into images. Finally, I used Macromedia Dreamweaver 4 to cobble it all into a web site, and Internet Explorer to upload it. Will you send me copies of your apps? NO! Don't you know that this is illegal? If you're that desperate, try downloading Grokster and using it to download them yourself! I paid tons of money for these apps, and I'm not about to waste it! Will you help me make my site? I wish I had the time or money to just sit down with people and help them with their web sites, but I have to say no again--sorry. If you need help, try the Visual Quickstart book series and find whatever app you're using in that series of book (most bookstores have them). Can I use content from this site? Yes, provided you give the original creator credit and do not alter it in any way, shape, or form. This includes graphics, music, ROM, anything this site has to offer. I will post credit where needed for other sites which I have content off of, and so should you. Can I link to this site? Of course. Use the banner if you like. It is located at the top of every page. What is your screenname on AIM/ICQ/etc.? I do not accept instant messaging. Will you ever put up information on the Hadouken (fireball) capsule? In my opinion, the fireball capsule is not a true part of the game because it portrays Dr. Light as a maniac from who knows where. Also, I like a challenge in my games, and the fireball defeats enemies in one shot, so what kind of a challenge is that? Why haven't you answered my email? Due to school, my personal schedule, and a lack of computer time, I don't get to check my e-mail very often. Be patient. Everyone gets a response, except for those who curse, swear, or are foul, or ask to have something changed that I don't want to change.
