If you have the Fire Wave or Storm Tornado, turn it on immediately upon entering this stage.
Stand at a level where the wood cut by the Axe Max swooshes over your head, then fire at the Axe Max itself, using powered-up shots.
Blast the Ray Bits with medium-charged shots and jump over the Bomb Beens' bombs.
This here's a rookie mistake. NEVER use the Fire Wave or Storm Tornado to anty up from the Batton Bones. Use well-timed, small X-Buster shots.
Shoot these Spikies with powered-up shots.
Jump over the Flammingles' head saws and shoot FAST. Be ready to jump over the next saw blade and then repeat what I've told you here.
Get in this Ride Armor. It'll give you a BIG strength boost!
Use the Ride Armor to blow this igloo to bits.
The Armor Soldier has a carbon copy of your Ride Armor, so when you're battling him, be careful!
After coming out of the cave, jump out of the Ride Armor by pressing UP+B, and climb up the wall after the pillar. When you are up the cliff, go no further! Jump onto the platform to your left. See the 2 screenshots following this for more on getting the prize of this platform.
Jump over the first igloo you come to. (No, there's no hole in the platform).
Use the Fire Wave to literally blow this igloo to pieces. Collect the Heart Tank in the remains of it.
Jump over all snowballs you come to.
These Snow Shooters throw miniature snowballs at you. Stay below them, and after their snowballs have passed you, jup to their level and blast 'em!
Here's Chill Penguin. Read the following screenshots for more info.
Jump over Chill Penguin's four shots while charging up your X-Buster, then blast him and slide back against the wall.
Climb up the wall to get away from the Ice Sculptures when Chill Penguin pulls the thingy in the top middle of the screen.
Jump over Chill Penguin's sliding attack.
Get extremely close to Chill Penguin when he's laughing, then use the Fire Wave to smoke him up. |
