Story.
Bison is
the leader of an organised crime syndicate called Shadowlaw fueled with
a mysterious telekinetic force called Psycho Power. Although it had been
around for years, it only began to become a serious threat around Street
Fighter Alpha 2 (1989-1990.) He hires Street Fighters from all around the
world to become her servants in Shadowlaw, or die if they refuse. Already
hiring the boxer Balrog, the God of Muay Thai
Sagat and the Spanish Ninja Vega
as his personal bodyguard, he begins his plans for world domination. Albeit
his plans are slightly delayed due to interference from Chun
Li, revealing that he killed her father. Then he came across Rose,
a woman whom he met and trained with, but was rebelling against him because
of the corrupt nature of his path. Rose battled and defeated Bison,
believing she killed him. But he managed to survive and thus began his
plans for a new project within Shadowlaw...(Street Fighter Alpha 2.)
Realising
that his Psycho Power was becoming too powerful for his body to contain,
he began plans to create a series of machines called Psycho Drives to regulate
his powers until he could find a new host to contain his Psycho Power and
soul. Using genetic experiments, he set up the Doll Project to synthetically
create a series of possible hosts using his own DNA (these hosts being
Cammy, Juni, Juli
and a series of other dolls that you see in SFA3 Arcade mode when you fight
Juni and Juli.) Proving herself the strongest of the Dolls, Cammy was set
up to become his next host but she slowly began to gain self-conscious.
Then he begins to hear about a fighter named Ryu,
who was much stronger than Cammy, and on finally meeting him managed to
brainwash the fighter. But he hadn't thought of Sagat, Ken and Sakura.
While Sagat fought with the brainwashed Ryu, Ken and Sakura fought off
Bison. Realising that Ryu had broken free of his brainwashing, he stumbled
away. Hearing Cammy had betrayed him and got the other Dolls to join her,
he no longer has any hosts he can truly trust. So he has to settle with
the last possible person on the planet that could be a host for his power;
Rose. He enters the base to get to the Psycho Drive
and finds Charlie and Guile
setting up explosives around the machine. Angered, he lunges himself in
his Psycho Crusher move at Guile, but was grabbed out of it by Charlie;
holding him off long enough for Guile to finish his work and leave the
base just in time before it exploded. As his body was destroyed, his soul
possessed Rose and mixed with her own-drifting her into unconsciousness.
Guy, who had been following Rose, found her and
took her to hospital. Despite the lack of serious wounds, he feels that
something is wrong with Rose, feeling a dark chill (Street Fighter Alpha
3.)
After getting
out of hospital, and with Bison's soul within her. It is said that Rose
led Shadowlaw until a new body was reconstructed for his soul by the remaining
faction of Shadowlaw, he realises that he is no longer as strong as he
once was due to either the destruction of the Psycho Drives or his contact
with the positive aura of Rose's soul. Despite this, he sets up the second
Street Fighter tournament so he can deal with those who had fallen him
years before. However, as the final battle came up, Gouki
appeared and challenged Bison to a duel. Caught off guard by his intervention,
he is soon defeated. Gouki berates Bison for 'being consumed by his own
shadow' (using negative energy) rather than training with his own fists
and style and then finally kills Bison with the Shun Goku Satsu- a move
that attacks the soul; killing him for good (or so far as we know.) (Street
