So, you have a boxful of broken Nintendo controllers in your closet. And then there's the Super Nintendo controller under your bed, yet you sold your Super Nintendo years ago. Or maybe you just like the Super Nintendo controllers looks better. Whatever the reason, there is a simple way of modifying Super Nintendo controllers so that they play on your NES.
What You Need:
One working Super Nintendo Controller
The end off one NES controller
Philips Head screw driver
Regular Screw Driver
15 Minutes
Part One (1)
Unscrew all of the screws holding the both the controllers closed.
Open up both controllers and pull the "guts" out of the SuperNES controller w/out damaging it
Take the regular screw driver and and pry the plastic connectors off of both controllers, careful not to destroy the NES connector
When this is done, there is another connector thing below the main connector and keep this as is for now
The pins should be revealed
Part Two (2)
By now all of the Super Nintendo controller's wires should be accessable. Take the NES connector/wires and look for the numbers molded into the inside. Replace the NES pin "1" with the Super NES pin "1" and so on, doing this with all seven. A color coded pin out chart is below for both the NES and Super NES controllers. Refer to this if in need.

Place the connector back together and your Super Nintendo controller will now work on your Nintendo system. I am not sure if this works with controllers besides the original Super Nintendo and Nintendo controllers.
THE WARP ZONE is not responsible for ANY problems which might occure with this.
