The Super License allows you to race with the event generator in the GT League.

Despite the information about drag racing in the manual there is no such event in the game. The designers took it out of the game at the last minute.  That is why it is still in the manual.

Yes there is quite a few of them. There is a bug that might delete your whole garage. It occurs when your on the Test Track, selected through the Machine Test menu. After racing and saving eight records, the next time you save will delete your garage. Just don't save the ninth time and you'll be ok. If this has happened to you, you can try the Gameshark code to try and get your garage back. Its in the code section labeled the garage car recovery code. Another one is that you will never be able to reach completion of 100%. This is because the designers took out the drag racing and forgot to recalculate the percentage. Also GT2 does not save your race records. Instead you have to go to Time Trials on the Arcade disc and save them there. Then you'll see them on the simulation mode races. Another one is that in the Special Events, the events that require different cars whether it be a muscle car or a convertible, you can race with what ever car you want just as long as it's under the horsepower limit. Also the computer can cheat. When it comes to the horsepower limit for a race. A computer can enter a 305 horsepower car into a 295 horsepower event. And if your going to buy a car the dealership will say a horsepower but when you take a look at it in the garage your cars horsepower might have dropped or raised considerably. If your not using any Gameshark codes than i suggest you save the game before you buy a car. If you are then suck it up and sell it and buy a different one. One last one I've encountered is that the computer cars may tend to merge together.

The best car in the game is highly talked about among Gran Turismo 2 fans. Right now the race is on between the Susuki Escudo, Toyota GT-One and the R390GT1 Road Car. This is just my opinion but I think that the R390GT1 Road Car is better then the other two in top speed events and the Susuki Escudo is better in normal races.

The car wash simply cleans and shines your car after its had a long race.

In the Japanese section (East City).

The majority of cars that can be used in rallying are Japanese cars. The rest of the Cities have a few cars that can be made into rally cars. Also front-wheel drive is also a great necessity for rallying.

On the selected setting press start and the setting will return to its original setting from the time you bought your car.
