Ride the Light is a racing program for hybrids
and it only can be found on Speed of Light. Ride the Light tests your abilities
against other competitors like you. In order to race in Ride the Light you need
to have a hybrid. The most common way to make one is that you must have a
Gameshark. You can also get one through a Dex drive or your friends memory card.
Instructions to participate in Speed of Light
- With your hybrid go to the
garage and record your hybrids specs. These should include: Your cars weight
and horsepower.
- Before you race record every
modification that is on your car. PRINT this out to make it easier!
- Once you are ready to race you
may enter either the "1000M" or the "Max" speed tests.
These are located in the Machine test window.
- Cars that have less then 1000 hp will not be
accepted!
- Ride the Light's rankings go by the 1000m test so
the Max Speed test is optional.
- The rules! There are none. I think if I said no
hitting the walls that would be virtually impossible!
- After the race, record your official time down to a
hundredth of a second (I.E. 15.12) and ( optional )
- After the race, record your official top speed that
your car has met (I.E. 398.59).
- Then visit Speed of Light and fill out the easy form
and within a few days your name and car will be listed in the rankings
