Some Like It Hot ...
june 26, 2002 - And yet another era passes before I post an update. As I am typing, I am funking to The Power Station. God bless the 80's. :) Well, convention season is upon us again, and I'll certainly be attending my share of'em, Origins and GenCon specifically. And while they're both going to be a load of fun, they're also going to be hella busy for me. There's seminars and games I want to attend, and I'll be GMing some tournament rounds & demos and helping with a seminar, myself. If you want to come and say 'hi' to me at either convention, come to the FanPro booth (#354 at Origins) and see if I'm there. Or, you could sign up for a game or the Shadowrun 101 seminar. Otherwise, I'll be wandering around with various friends and acquaintances. Bull should have some details about the various events at both conventions here and here, and the official Shadowrun site has updated its Events page. Before I forget: The Shadowrun Supplemental is up for an Origins Award again! I hope you've voted. I would have linked to the voting page and updated earlier, but I was in the middle of a slew of work. Keep your fingers crossed! We also have issue #17 available in both HTML and .pdf, and we're working on issue #18 (which may not see publication until after Origins). Keep submitting! And thanks to everyone for your continued support. Updates to the site: I have a few new links to share, and some small news on my writing page, as well. Also updated is the Disclaimer on the front page, along with posting an unaltered version of the Shadowrun logo, to conform to the legalities set out in the Official FAQ. Nothing else really new at this time, although after Origins, I should have a bunch of new stuff - a rundown of what happened w/pictures, much like I did last year, some tidbits from "What's Up With Shadowrun?", and possibly a teaser of the game I'll run at GenCon. :) Now available: Shadows of North America. Coming soon: Target: Wastelands. To see the Product Release schedule, go here. Buy these at your Friendly Local Gaming Store, or get'em through the Fast Forward FanPro Store. Until next time - Do you want to touch my monkey? Touch my monkey. Touch him. Kiss mein abschminke! Touch him! Luff him! - Elissa [old news] |
