It takes twenty-two steps...
Now Playing: I'm in between CDs, actually
Again, an update of MASSIVE size. New for you...

* Andy's CD Reviews - I review my first CD, "Joe Muggs Coffeehouse CD, Vol. 1." This is in anticipation of reviewing (and listening to) the Vol. 2, which I'm actually excited about because it has decent people on it.

* This Book Will Change Andy's Life features a lack of balloons and a lack of apples.

* Photos That Didn't Make The Cut, Vol. 2 includes a cat, booty, and two others.

* Five by Five is handsome! It's brave! And it's strong!

Scarlett Johannson, best known for being in "Lost in Translation" and looking good at the Oscars, will voice a character for the upcoming SpongeBob movie. Alec Baldwin will too, but that's considerably less exciting.

In response to "The Passion", Monty Python's "Life of Brian" is going to be rereleased.

School systems nationwide are stepping up efforts to get young teachers to not quit, citing lack of pay as one of the reasons. Not to be Mr. Wizard here, but there IS a way to fix that problem.

Wow. Just wow. They'll make a musical out of anything.

The new Rolling Stone presents the fifty greatest artists of all time and a salute to the team of baseball and music.

Sarah Michelle Gellar won't appear in the finale episode of "Angel." Ah well.

Six weeks straight for Norah!

Just breathe
Mood:  not sure
Updates all over the place!

* This Book Will Change Andy's Life - Four new, slightly unexciting entries.

* Eight Bucks Worth of Crap - Due to much demand (or Vicky reminding me), there's a new piece of crap up! I'm going to try to add one every time I update.

* Photos That Didn't Make The Cut, Album Two - Four new photos, three involving a cat.

* Music Stuff - I posted lyrics to a song. How exciting.

* Five by Five - Two new entries, one in response to the other.

Meet Katrina, who can talk to geese. Geese seem to be a focal point here at the AO.

A pastor died while watching "The Passion" with his church. Probably wasn't expecting that twist to the story.

The campaign is on to save "Angel."

A ninja held up a gas station in Norway recently. Rumor has it that it was one of Shredder's foot soldiers.

Those wacky Christians are trying to get books banned in some Georgia schools, including Of Mice and Men, the only book read in school that I actually enjoyed as I was reading it in school.

Jem has finally made it, no doubt due to being on the fabulous Joe Muggs Coffeehouse volume two and not because of being on the great ATO label, of which I seem to like every freakin' artist.

Today's Engrish quite frankly overwhelms me. As if finding out who the true Uncle Sam is isn't enough, then there's... well... you know... that alien...

The Onion's 9/11 edition could've won a Pulitzer, if the "academy" wasn't so scared.

Lend me some sugah
Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: 'Hey Ya!'
Check out a brand new edition of Five by Five, fresh for this very morning. There's also one I posted last night but didn't get around to actually promoting. Feel free to comment on any and all Five by Five entries with your particular answers and/or general comments. I'm striving to make that the majorly interactive portion of the show.

I haven't gotten the newest TBWCAL entries done yet. Sorry.

Circa May 16, 2001, it's old school AO! I'm amazed at how much works on that menu bar at the top, and how it takes you to the actual old-school stuff from that day (livejournal entry, for example).

Be ready... later in the week, I'm going to do a major music rant and a movie review or two. Right now though, I'm off to bed.

It's the extra poo that makes all the difference!
Now Playing: it's been an old school Lenny Kravitz day

Step right up and check out two new (uncharactacteristically uncrappy) entries in This Blog Will Change Andy's Life, featuring Days Seventy-Seven (Logo Day) and Day Seventy-Eight (Politically Correct Day). Come for the logo, stay for the bonus cereal review!

And here's the feature I originally planned to relaunch AO with (along with the above Book stuff), but never got around to until now... please welcome Five by Five! I'm also planning to include lots of pictures, generally pertaining to the subject at hand, in the Five by Five. They'll probably be a little bigger than here on the front page. Hey, I see three already!

Jon Stewart has signed on to continue with the Daily Show for four more years. It's the best news show on television (which is both sad and great). I don't have access to cable, but there's not a day that I don't go to the Daily Show website and watch the couple of videos from the previous night's show (well, except for the weekend). I never fail to laugh. What's better?

I've brought back the random quote thing up there. It only has about 35 quotes right now, but it'll swell back up into the hundreds again very shortly so you don't have to suffer through the same quotes over and over. It'll be a quotes/lyrics hybrid, actually.

Jayson Blair's book has only sold 1,386 copies. I kinda want to read it, just for the newspaper journalism stuff, but with the horrid reviews and selling less copies than we have total books probably in our kids section at the bookstore... I'm thinking I'll wait.

Dave Matthews and the band are now officially in the studio, doing it a way they never have before - without a producer (besides Dave himself) and without actually having written anything beforehand. And "Oh" is being released as the third single from Dave's solo album, which means I'll hear it on ONE station (the best one out there, too... I wish I could receive it anywhere that's not just Savannah).

Here's an article on the biggest of the wrecks that caused me to take three hours to drive from Brunswick to the first exit after the Brunswick exit.

Pot. Kettle. Black.
A good, probably true quote from Dave Matthews in Blender:
"Thank god for OutKast! If Andre 3000 and Big Boi were in charge of the space program, we'd be sitting poolside on Mars sipping champagne."

And one from the village idiot, George W. Bush, this week:
"If you're going to make an accusation in the course of a presidential campaign, you ought to back it up with facts."

Well you came and you gave without taking
Mood:  lazy
Now Playing: Kelly Willis
A few new site things for you to enjoy on this fine Monday. Senorita Anonymous has donated three new banners, one of which you see up there. I'm still waiting for Lissa to donate her banners from her recent experience, but I think she has slightly more important things going on right now. :) Three more brand-spankin' new entries in the This Book Will Change Andy's Life blog, too. Gino's!

As a real celebration for St. Patrick's Day, I give you Capn. Wacky's Boatload o' Blarney.

I watch Buffy, but really... I never do this.

Stay safe tomorrow!

If you feel like letting go
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: 'Everybody Hurts' by the Corrs
Fine, so I screwed up my link in the last post AGAIN. So sue me!

For those of you who found your way around my bad link to it, there are three new entries of This Book Will Change Andy's Life. For those of you too lazy to use the OTHER link on the page, there's also the four you missed from before.

There are two new pictures that didn't make the cut.

I haven't done it in a while, so here are song songs that I recommend.

Starbucks is going to allow customers to burn CDs in stores. Joe Muggs, meanwhile, will offer a free poster of Blue Merle with the purchase of a "22 Steps Frappe."

The Easy Bake Oven has nothing on the new Marshmallow Peeps Maker.

Poor Dear Abby... this column got yanked. She didn't figure out that it tied in with a Homeresque storyline.
