Well you came and you gave without taking
Mood:  lazy
Now Playing: Kelly Willis
A few new site things for you to enjoy on this fine Monday. Senorita Anonymous has donated three new banners, one of which you see up there. I'm still waiting for Lissa to donate her banners from her recent experience, but I think she has slightly more important things going on right now. :) Three more brand-spankin' new entries in the This Book Will Change Andy's Life blog, too. Gino's!

As a real celebration for St. Patrick's Day, I give you Capn. Wacky's Boatload o' Blarney.

I watch Buffy, but really... I never do this.

Stay safe tomorrow!

If you feel like letting go
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: 'Everybody Hurts' by the Corrs
Fine, so I screwed up my link in the last post AGAIN. So sue me!

For those of you who found your way around my bad link to it, there are three new entries of This Book Will Change Andy's Life. For those of you too lazy to use the OTHER link on the page, there's also the four you missed from before.

There are two new pictures that didn't make the cut.

I haven't done it in a while, so here are song songs that I recommend.

Starbucks is going to allow customers to burn CDs in stores. Joe Muggs, meanwhile, will offer a free poster of Blue Merle with the purchase of a "22 Steps Frappe."

The Easy Bake Oven has nothing on the new Marshmallow Peeps Maker.

Poor Dear Abby... this column got yanked. She didn't figure out that it tied in with a Homeresque storyline.

Stading outside of a broken telephone booth with change in my hand
Now Playing: Yeah, that song
Item I really didn't need but couldn't resist having:

I pity the fool who don't like kitties!

Four new TBWCAL entries. I'll update the rest of the site stuff tomorrow when I'm hopefully in more of a mood to do it.

Ch-ch-ch-changes
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: 'Angry All The Time' by Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis

One day, I'll do the links right: we have the Scott Baio album (currently: zero bids, $0.00) and the three-jersey swatch baseball card (four bids, $11.00). Buy buy buy!

I've changed a few things around here, as you might've noticed. I cleaned up the little toolbar over there on the left, at least as best I could. Department #1 would be "AO Features," Department #2 would be "Andy Stuff," and Department #3 is a brand new feature I like to call "Andy Friends." It'd be wise to check out all of those sites, I think. Some are blogs, some are actual webpages (some personal, some other). If you'd like to be there, let me know!

Due to me filling up the first one, I present Photos That Didn't Make The Cut, Album Two. Yippee.

I added eight books to my library. They're all by the same author.

Naturally, I did (well, kinda) two days worth of entries for This Book Will Change Andy's Life. Get ready to learn a poem and conserve water!

Kinky for Governor!

The newest reason to move to the Philippines: an all-SPAM restaurant.

My parents bought me many of these cookies. X-E... always good for the memories.

What a great Photoshop contest... Far Side cartoons come to life.

Peanuts fan and/or a fan of "Hey Ya!"? Then this is the greatest movie ever. (Warning: takes a minute or so to load)

BUY BUY BUY
Now's your chance! Have you always dreamed of owning YOUR very own Scott Baio debut album? Haven't we all? Well, go buy mine! Give your heart a little dose of Baio mania! (There's a baseball card up for grabs, too, but it isn't nearly on the level as Scott Baio... swoon).

EDIT: And for those of you who like links that actually work, we have Scott Baio and Chipper, Dontrelle, and Albert.

It's A Pose
Mood:  spacey
Now Playing: Nellie McKay's 'Get Away From Me'

Today's highly recommended music: Nellie McKay's "Get Away From Me." A two-disc debut! Nineteen years old! Plays piano! Writes her own lyrics! Good music! It's jazz, it's pop, it's rap!

Here you go, the latest two days worth of TBWCAL. And here, here's seven bird pictures that didn't make the cut.

I actually did this part last time I updated the page. Someone said I wouldn't... so have 150 more random songs! And look at that, it's kinda diverse. I might be musically okay yet.

It's official... there's more Harry Potter coming (you can hear the bookstore world both rejoicing and groaning). The sixth book is in progress. J.K. Rowling will go back and revise the whole series after she finishes it. And she might quite possibly write an eighth book featuring Harry as an adult. This is all good news.

The U.S. is about to start looking for bin Laden 24/7. Um... were we only searching a few hours a day or something before? Hello?

If Hawaii can have special Hawaii edition SPAM, why can't Georgia?

CNN.com reports that "The Passion of The Christ" is being overreported. This report brought to you by the World Irony Foundation.

John Kerry... look at him rock! Or something.

Here's the new Rolling Stone article on Norah Jones. And here's the contents page photo again, just because... well, I like it, dangit.

X-Entertainment takes a look at the He-Man Coloring Book! Watch as Skeletor has rare wedding plans! The big lug needs love, too.

I pity the fool!
Now Playing: 'I Pity The Fool' - BB King & Buddy Guy

Three days worth of This Book Will Change Andy's Life are up, but I will be honest and say the entires kinda suck. They'll return to normalcy when they actually get good again!

There's a whopping 28 new photos that didn't make the cut!

Yep, Jon Stewart is indeed the news voice for today's youth. "The Daily Show" is probably better than any "real" news program, and you still get all of the news you need to know.

I'm already excited about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Sure, I'm not a fan of it in real life, but in video game form with a great soundtrack, it's kinda fun driving around, hitting people, and activities related to that.

Keith Richards should have died eight years ago. Well, duh. Wait... he's only 60???

Philadelphia hopes having "The Real World" filmed there will make the city cooler. Sure. I remember a few years ago when the local paper was running stories about how St. Simons Island was being rumored for the show. Yeah, right!

More men are getting asslifts than ever before. Yep, when I'm getting old and saggy...

Pete Rose is finally being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Granted, the WWE Hall of Fame probably isn't as high on high priority list as the Major League Baseball one...

Jesus (a.k.a. The Christ) is demanding creative control over future movies about him. And why not?

Once more, with feeling
I'm not really updating until tomorrow (I'm off, so come back for three days worth of "The Book" and more), but I didn't want to lose this headline and the chance for the joke I thought of to follow it. Ready? Alright.

From Yahoo! News: Video Games Make Kids Fat, Violent, Swedish Experts Say

And my joke:
Video games never made me fat, violent, or Swedish!

Da-da-dum.

Feels like I'm starting all over again / The last three years are just pretend
Mood:  lyrical
Now Playing: 'Goodbye to You' / Michelle Branch
Current awesome up-and-coming band you should check out (if you can actually find any of their material)? The Little Willies.

New in TBWCAL, we have days Fifty-Eight - Family Skills Day - and Day Fifty-Nine - Psychic Day!

Just from hearing other people talk (stupidly) tonight, I'm glad now more than ever that I'm a pacifist.

I'm actually listening to the Michelle Branch-programmed radio station on MTV.com (which seems to be the only decent thing on MTV.com), and I'm kinda (but not totally surprised). Cat Stevens, "Pretty in Pink," Audioslave, "Why Don't We Do It in the Road," and... the Dixie Chicks. Interesting.

I seem to have no trouble finding crazy teacher news nowadays. A teacher made a male student wear a dress as punishment. Granted, depending on who you ask...

I'm probably the only person in the world excited about a sequel to the classic Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigolo.

I should've known the lovely Landover Baptist would be all over The Passion.

Alright, NOW I'm scared. Book coming this October - and no, I'm not making this up - The O'Reilly Factor For Kids - A Survival Guide.

And, as a sidenote, something else I found while digging through the old AO...
Now Playing: 'Don't Touch Me' by Brak
Whoa! Hey! Don't touch me!

Best. Ad campaign. Ever.
