The Wind Waker

Developer: Nintendo

Publisher: Nintendo

Other:The game features a GameCube - GameBoy Advance link-up bonus, which includes some extra features. Read more in the corresponding section (see the menu to the right).

Genre: Action Adventure

Multiplayer: No

System:
Gamecube

Analysis: Tenth in The Legend of Zelda series, also was created by the Nintendo head Miyamotoさん. As usual there are easy-to-use game menus. Like in Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask, there was Z-targeting, in this game since the controls are different, its now called L-targeting. L-Targeting is incredibly usefull during combat. As the game is on sea, and is a little tedious treck across it, Nintendo has graciouslly added a warp option, making the game a tiny bit easier. This game is hard to comprehend how great it is, though some people might not like it because of its cartoon look. You must not be discouraged though, because this is a great game. This game is kind of Ocarina of Timeish but with major differences. I could go on and on how great this game is and never stop. So I leave you here to either get some help, or if you dont have this game to get it, Its worth the money. Nintendo did an excellent job.

Prologue:

This is but one of the legends of which the people speak... Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden. It was a prosperous land blessed with green forests, tall mountains, and peace.

But one day, a man of great evil found the golden power and took it for himself... With its strength at his command, he spread darkness across the kingdom. But then, when all hope had died, and the hour of doom seemed at hand...

...a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere. Wielding the blade of evil's bane, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light. This boy, who traveled through time to save the land, was known as the Hero of Time.

The boy's tale was passed down through generations until it became a legend... But then...a day came when a tall wind began to blow across the kingdom. The great evil that all thought had been forever sealed away by the hero... returned once again to bring destruction to the kingdom.

The people of the land prayed for a new hero, but they received none. And so the evil broke free and destroyed the kingdom... ...only few chosen by fate survived.

The memory of the kingdom vanished, but its legend survived on the wind's breath. On a certain island, it became customary to garb boys in green when they came of age.
