Crafts of Betty DeGuilo
(fine china cups and saucers with dried, silk, paper or real roses)

On View: March 30  until April 11, 1999
Reception: Sunday April 30, 1999 1-4pm

Betty DeGuilo is an artisan who has been making crafts since she was a little girl. She has a strong commitment to quality, and plans on sharing her talent, during the month of April, at the Watchung Arts Center.

Betty's artistic ability really shines in her creation of fine china cups and saucers with dried, silk, paper or real roses. Some are Victorian, contemporary or country. Closepin angels are dressed in lace or eyelet gowns with gold wings, flower bouquets and halos. You'll find items made out of bent wire in a variety of shapes such as; pocketbooks, ladies shoes and watering cans decorated with florals, laces and ribbons. "The eucalyptus wreath with roses and shells was just perfect for my living room," said one very satisfied customer. Unique silverware decorated with roses or other florals, rose heart door hangers and lots of other items, too numerous to list.

Join us for the opening reception on April 11 from 1 to 4PM. If you can't make the reception, be sure to come over some time during the month of April and check out the display cases in our front lobby. You can purchase an early Mother's Day gift, or just pick up something for yourself or a friend.
