Clevenger Family Photos
Clevenger Family Photos
Welcome to my webpage of Clevenger Photos. I will be adding more as I acquire them so check back periodically. And feel free to leave comments.
My apologies to those who have left comments over the last few months; I wasn't getting notifications that comments were awaiting approval. I also haven't worked on family tree stuff recently, and don't have a lot to offer in addition to the photos here that isn't already available on the internet. All the same, I hope you enjoy the photos!

Thanks for visiting.

OK try to follow this- the couple on the right is Amos and Sarah (Clevenger) Palmer. The couple on the left is Gertrude (Palmer) and her husband John Leonard Spade. The middle couple is Sarah's nephew Edward Clevenger, son of David and Sabina (Hann) and his wife Mamie. (That's all I have for her name, and I think this is a wedding photo.) The children are, from l-r, Sarah Jesselene Spade, Earl Bernard Spade, and Amos Guy Spade, all children of John and Gertrude. Amos was my grandfather, so this photo shows 3 generations of my ancestors, which I think is pretty neat. This is a photo of a large old framed picture, so there's some distortion and glare across the top. Don't know the dog's name. Sorry.

I have Clevengers and Palmers in my family line. I have a Sarah A. Clevenger born in Indiana about 1832. My line also has Levi's, Newman's, Perkins and others. I can't help but think that these photo's are of my line of genealogy. Could you help me by showing me or telling me where I can trace the family lines of these people. Your work is wonderful and I truly appreciate your efforts here. Dave Newman

Thank you for sharing this photo. Sarah Jesselene Spade was my great-grandmother. I love seeing these old photos; gives a small window to the past! Many blessings to you and yours!
